My son was looking for Buddy the bandit but couldn’t see him. Anyone know why he hasn’t been around this season?

In Poland? 😉😁

BROKEN THE COLLAR BONE
Unfortunately, Peter was involved in a crash on Friday night when his club Berwick faced Edinburgh Monarchs.
Already in the first heat of the evening, Peter crashed and broke his collar bone.
After a few days of waiting in the British, Peter landed yesterday again in Denmark and has today been to check up on OUH.
They were going to operate on his collarbone within a week, but of course they are going to try to do it as soon as possible.
So we keep our fingers crossed that Peter can have his operation soon, we hope to see him back on the bike again soon.

Nightmare for the Bandits.

Not even a month into the season and you’ve lost Battye (a revelation, headed for the main body of the team) and your talisman.

You couldn’t write that sort of luck.

Somehow we are having a great and terrible start to the season. We are quite used to bad luck at Shielfield unfortunately. Fingers crossed we can get some good guests as I’m not sure who could be a temporary replacement for either. But if there’s someone available the Berwick management will find them if last year is anything to go by.

Wood in for Battye and R/R for PK on Saturday. Some big performances required from the bandits if we are going to win I think. Going to be a tough one.

Bandits need to win big, to ensure bonus point next week.  Aggregate wins will be required to qualify for playoffs this year

Think it would have been harder with Lambo still there, the problem with R/R is if someone has mechanical issues, don't think there's any footy on but the shows will be taking up half the carpark

Good to have Drew Kemp back this week as guest for PK.

Once a Bandit, always a Bandit!

Except Charlie Gjedde, of course.

No spots of rain forecast 😉

If Drew Kemp is guesting does that mean he must have signed for a Championship team?

(Sorry if it's a silly question - I'm new here lol 😂)

Except on Friday when he`s a Monarch.

Fair question, but a rider can guest in any league if (a) he's in a 1-7 in any of our three leagues, and (b) his average is lower than the rider he's covering for

Does Drew come in on his current PL average or last seasons 2025 Championship average

Not sure on that.

Drew's final CMA for Bandits in 2025 was 8.08

This year at Leicester he is currently on 4.72 (converts to 7.08 for CL)

As PK is currently on 7.86 (which converts to 8.25 for home meeting guests) I'm thinking Drew has to be at his '25 average.   That's why he can't be Berwick's guest at Scunny on Friday (Edinburgh's gain!) but can guest for Bandits on Saturday.

I think.     Alternative scenarios welcomed!
