allthegearbutnaeidea
Do we all agree Jenkins should stay for Fredriksen once Battye is fit, he’s shown more in one meeting than Fredriksen has this ‘season’ so far
crescent girl
Looking ahead, Bandits will have Leon Flint at #1 on Wednesday at Poole. Poole have Chris Harris in for Richard Lawson. A Danish rider missing for a Danish league match, doesn't bother me so much, but a British riders who's home track is a Wednesday missing a match seems very wrong! 11
PersonalResponsibility
You've just got to squeeze these fixtures in where you can these days, I suppose.

There is prob a cut off for BSN and KOC as they want them completed mid season. Also Denmark have a break in July, sure Berwick and Poole rather do it then but maybe they have been told needs to be done asap.

Mgas
Who stays who goes? We currently have 8 riders I know what team id be looking to take forward. But with the 1st nearly here im not sure it even works that’s to many sums for me. If it fits Jenkins replaces smith if not he replaces lasse. Jenkins signed for Kings Lynn in the Premiership (replacing Paco) according to their website. Hopefully he stays at Berwick as well.

Still don't think it's right, while nobody likes rider missing matches, it's more understandable when it's an away Danish rider at Poole or Oxford & can't be avoided. But in this case, Lawson must expect Poole to get extra matches in all the competitions & be aware rain-offs can happen. To me, his agreement with a Danish team should be "I'll ride when Poole don't have a fixture", if they don't agree - don't sign for them. If he's really desperate to ride in Denmark, don't sign for a Wednesday club! From Berwick's point of view, they shouldn't sign a rider who would miss Saturday meetings, one of the reasons why Kemp left. I feel this is a situation where a facility shouldn't be allowed. szkocjasid
5 hours ago, StevePark said: And then the paying public lose out..... But it was acceptable for the paying public to lose out when Klindt didn't turn up for Plymouth last year, or when riders are "banned" for being ill / non-speedway injury, Rushen for example after being injured because he didn't declare the injury when he crashed. In these situations the paying public losing out doesn't bother the powers that be. Although my hope would be, that Lawson / Poole knowing there's no facility would lead to him racing for Poole! If you're cool with facilities here, we'll have to agree to disagree. Edited 2 hours ago by szkocjasid
