UK is an island and not as easy to get to as many other euro countries. Same as why no gp in Australia, and surely with 4 riders deemed good enough to be in the series it deserves a GP. Might be right on the financial aspect. As a fan I love the idea of two GPs over two nights. But from a series point of view, it's huge, so if a rider is injured like Dan and Freddie and miss both nights, that's a huge chunk of points lost, which doesn't seem quite fair.

ShanoXtra Posted yesterday at 02:03 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 02:03 PM (edited) I loved Bewley’s social media post yesterday 😂 “I hope this weekend is called off, I prefer October anyway” 😆 now this could be just a joking comment, but mixed with ML saying he is in the market for a replacement rider for Dan this season, maybe it’s more than a joke 😉 Edited yesterday at 02:04 PM by ShanoXtra . False dawn
It will be what it is... I stopped taking too much notice of forecasts when they started putting "weather permitting" in the small print.

glenantony
Glasgow last weekend showed how to get on with a meeting despite inclement weather. Keep the racing going, forego grading breaks and just plough through. Their presentation was excellent in the circumstances
CTD26
Wish people would stop usuing the bbc weather christ. Saturday looks a tad better than tomorrow with less rainfall. Both meetings will be on and the track will cook up some excellent racing like always. Skins waterproof so if people are that bothered about getting wet, take a change of clothes. I am sure though with the quality of the track team involved they will deliver....
Odds On
Some gullible people on here, starting to believe weather forecasts are in anyway accurate is downward spiral in life, it is not healthy and not a good idea if you wish to keep your sanity...if you do believe in weather fore casts you must be Labour voters who believe in Ed Miliband! 3

Where's the headlines praising the Government for the massive reduction in immigration and small boats which has been achieved since 2024/5?? How about the progress with the NHS and reduced waiting lists?? No, all we get is Peter Mandleson stood in his pants - as if that had any real impact on people in the UK 🙄 3

No, all we get is Peter Mandleson stood in his pants - as if that had any real impact on people in the UK 🙄 You forgot to mention, tax screwing measures, youngsters priced out of jobs due to tax and employment regulation changes, no youngster can do paper rounds etc. thanks to legislation, young employees who recognise that the hospitality industry is screwing them by insisting you read your menu on an app and pay on line and when they ask if they can get you anything else to be told by the waitress/waiter that you need to go to the bar or use the app sums up how the younger generation are on a hiding to nothing. I know a minority want to screw the system but many really do want to work. Perhaps this is the generation that the sport should be reaching out to and using the various social media outlets to get them to suggest where the authorities could take the sport.
PhilTheAce
We have been watering the track this afternoon and evening. Track needed it. Tomorrow wont be as wet as people think. Saturday is only patchy rain and again it wouldn't surprise me if we water it before the start time
