Steve Irving
A lot will depend on what Musielak turns up. The one who scored 17 on his first visit here last year, or the one who scored 2 on his second! That just about sums his last couple of years up over here. Wildly inconsistent. One away meeting and already this result is written off as almost impossible for King's Lynn. Only a month or two ago, King's Lynn were murmured to be right up there as by some. The King's Lynn track is up there as one of the most difficult to get to grips with as an away rider, many of the very best in the world has suffered. Although lower level, at least Rushen & Scott have had regular outings on it. I'm not convinced Hellstrom-Bangs will be that handy. The few times watching him, he's an exciting, full gas rider. King's Lynn is not a place to do that at as it can quickly send you to the fence. The reverse of Thursday night or better is absolutely possible. Rushen has been good for Poole but he will struggle against the more experienced Edwards and the track should suit PHB in my opinion. Obviously Ipswich have a weakness in the heat leader department so they need to score heavily elsewhere to compensate. Nicholls seems to have started the season on the back foot for some reason, maybe his age catching up with him I dont know. Overall I would expect a narrow home win,Fricke was in 4 of the last 5 races at Ipswich which made a big difference.

Brennan, Lawson, Musielak and King can all win races around the AFA so Paco and the King's Lynn reserves will have to come to the party. I think this meeting is very difficult to predict on the night, I'll go with a King's Lynn victory in a tight meeting but Ipswich could easily win again if one of King's Lynn's Top 4 has an off night. Agree. Hard to predict. Ippo has got riders that go well at the AFA. Even if Lynn can get 40 from our top four, it will be to a big ask to hit 51. My prediction is 2 points either way on the night. Castagna is out of his depth and Lynn can only afford to have one inexperienced reserve at this level of racing
