There’s home advantage, and then there’s this! Should this be allowed on the actual day of a meeting? Home riders having all afternoon to practice and fine tune their setup to suit the track conditions on the day? Seems a bit off to me.

Think of it as our press and practice day😉. We never had one.

I’m sure someone will point to the fact that this isn’t against the rules, but it should be. There’s always an element of home advantage regardless of track conditions, but it’s a fact track conditions can vary from meeting to meeting. A home team shouldn’t be allowed to spend a whole afternoon fine tuning the perfect set ups on the actual day of a meeting. It may not exactly be “cheating”, but it’s definitely off.

You have to remember if Allitt & Chapman can find a way to cheat they will, these 2 have been bringing the sport into disrepute for a long time and still they get away with it.

I had to laugh listening to that Kings Lynn podcast that Bagpuss linked up where Lyon said they “really pushed for TWO rising stars this year”. Yeah I bet they did!!

It wouldn’t have anything to do with the fact the team building average had been reduced and they’d signed the statistically top rider in the league saddled with a near 10 point average, meaning having to go weak at reserve with two inexperienced riders would it?

Of course not. They were thinking in the best interests of the sport long term! 🙄

We all know self interest rules the roost and it’s plainly evident again here. They finally had the top end strength they’d craved for years, and also wanted to negate any disadvantage they’d have from that at reserve by trying to force everyone else to go with two out of their depth kids as well. They may have failed with Their requests this time, but we all know the influence certain people have and their threats to close their clubs if certain demands aren’t met have been successful in the past.

People wonder why this Sport in this country is in the mess that it is when it’s run by the very people who will ALL try and pull these stunts to gain an advantage for their own clubs.

It will continue to happen until someone comes in to set the rules and regulations, and runs the Sport in this Country who doesn’t have ANY association with one particular club.

Lots of teams do this. Maybe not all afternoon but practice sessions. Nothing wrong with it imo. You must be worried if moaning about that!

Just goes to show that the King's Lynn's management don't truly believe in their 1-7.

Busters practice session will more than likely pay off tonight now though.

Kevin Jolly. Those who know have very long memories and will never, until the end of time itself, listen to any crocodile tears flooding from the eyes from the Witches and their supporters

I’m not a “Witches” fan.

Why would I be worried? I couldn’t really care less if Ipswich win lose or draw!

My team closed many moons ago.

Surprised you care. Probably best for you to avoid poking around in StarsvWitches rivalry as you stir up a hornets nest.

How has he? He’s simply highlighted something he doesn’t agree with which he’s entitled to do. Who made you judge and jury and decides who can post where and when? Deary me 🙄
