Great race and great confrontation!

Didn't see a huge amount wrong with Howarth's move, it was hard but didn't look dirty from that angle.

Pickering being a whinging pussy .....

Interesting that the British Speedway website has posted pictures and the video of it. Usually they just give it a brief mention in the report and move on. If that's a deliberate choice to try and publicise these incidents more then I think it's a good decision.

Disgraceful behaviour....

My 22 year old lad has just watched this and now needs therapy and counselling....

They should be banned for a decade st least.... :D

Good, hard racing, "just enough room" left from Howarth which is fair enough...

A bit more of this and the sport could be interesting again....

The fight between Wright and Allen got several hundred thousand views......

More of this "edge" is needed....

I get what you are saying but I think we need to avoid criticising riders who start these fisticuffs, and I'd certainly never accuse anyone who rides a speedway bike of being a pussy, if anything I am as I had one go once and never will again 😂

We need more of this stuff.

I've got to say Picko's opening (and only) punch was pretty pathetic 😂

All good stuff though and certainly charged the meeting and sparked a tremendous fightback from the Tigers 👏

It's insane to go and try and punch someone who has a crash helmet on however

That's what makes it okay though... something like Mr Dugards attack of Stefan Anderson though, all those years ago, was not pretty to watch!

That incident was awful to see .Dugard had all the time in the world to calm down during the long walk back to the pits. A genuine case of "like father like son"

He shouldn't have done that and accepts that and so does Stef.

But, walked back with a broken pelvis that kept him out for the rest of the season, his head went.

Having watched the race I think Pickering should have been more concerned with where the start/finish marshal was standing as he came towards the finish line. Right in his racing line.

I'm surprised elf and safety hasn't shut this practice down, is there any need for the flag marshal to be stood in the middle of the track? He ain't even wearing a hi-vis vest!

Howarth has always been a tough but fair rider, Got the better of Picko in the heat of battle where it resulted in a 5-1 and then Picko saw red tbh.

It's good to have a bit of needle, It shows that riders care.
