BBC1 East news at 6.30 tonight was at the track Paul and Jaimon Lidsey were interviewed. Apparently good crowd at the turnstiles which bodes well. Good luck to the new promotion enhancing the top flight.

NKI is not allowed to fly on medical grounds at the moment, which is why he is only doing meetings abroad  until he is given the all clear. Its all explained in an excellent article in todays Speedway Star magazine.

There are other forms of travel,,, very poor excuses

You’d like to think with this one being a dead rubber that if it was shaping up to be a Foxes loss,  it could then be fixed for a win in a last heat decider. The witches are through to the cup anyway and a close victory could help future attendance.

FFS!!!!

It's their FIRST meeting!!!....

With (hopefully), lots of people there who have either some vague idea of what Speedway is, or havent a clue at all what it is all about...

What a load of bollox involved when all that needs to be done is a close meeting, with Northampton winning...

That's the whole point though, it is a load of bollox ... they never think through the wording and potential impacts on other regulations.

The only good thing about tonight and the gloriously ambiguous regulations is that there's nothing riding (sic) on the result, because the mini-league is already decided.

A win for Northampton would be good to get them orf to an extra-positive start, but the Witches riders are there to earn their crust ...

It’s rammed here, great to see!

Great to hear. Congratulations to Mark, Phil, Paul & Tony. A fabulous effort that bodes well for the new era that sees up wanting to add to the participants of our top league. Love it.

It appears there are no longer any ferry crossings to the UK direct from Denmark.

Nicholls Musielek and Lawson unbeaten and riders like Harrison going well

Lidsey showing yet again he is a one track pony can’t even seem to get round the bends

He had decent scores at Ipswich and lynn prior to this did he not???

Hopefully some one will be able to say if it's gonna be a good racing track or not

It will when prepared properly, it's far too slick tonight but there's been some decent stuff never the less.

There's no "trick" bends, it's a perfect size and a pretty good shape with proper speedway shale too.
