Poole Pirates Vs Redcar Bears 6th May Championship

The Pirates take on the Bears this coming Wednesday in thier opening league fixture after the Bsn series.

This will be a good test for the Pirates and in particular with the form of reserve Jody Scott at the moment.

I feel that Poole have a stronger top 5 so the reserves will be key.

Looking forward to seeing who comes out on top between Cooper,Will ,Scott and Mulford.

Thoughts?

I feel it will be a good test for our reserves as Jody Scott is going exceptionally well at the moment.

Mulford back up to no2, so will be Jody and Ace at reserve. 

Hard to call this one. A lot could depend on who is at 5, as they recently swapped Jake and Jason around. Also what the decision is between Newman and Gilkes. 

I will go for a 48-42 if pushed.

I actually think this will be a good meeting.

I was vocally critical of Wimborne Road last season, so it’s only fair I give credit for the Oxford meeting on BSN; a really good meeting. Well done Poole.

The battle of the reserves could be key and will be fascinating.

I know BSN have to give every club a fair crack of coverage, but this would be a great fixture to cover.

He did gate twice but got a bit outbattled by the sounds of it and it was said it looked like he lacks confidence on the bike. He also had a fall but seems to have got up from that ok.
