it has been said numerous times yes but the fans bury there head in the sand as long as they are winning (which they always do)

They also turn up in decent numbers so who has got it right .

Bowes was so upset, in tears in the pits especially after being blocked against the pit fence by Pijper in his 2nd ride and then engine troubles in his last. Good to see him putting g some extra laps in after the meeting.

Incidentally Klindt clocked the fastest time of the season so far. All times were fast compared to previous weeks.

Also well worthy of a mention and Sponsors Rider of the Night, Will Cairns - 11 points as well as a heat 14 blown engine on his lap of honour .

Crying! Big baby! Actually thought he rode well at Plymouth earlier in the season.

..as opposed to the usual Ipswich suspect talking his usual b0!!○<ks.

Their track is now "shocking" when once it suited "proper Speedway riders, not throttle jockeys"....:D

Good to see Will Cairns' score last night, there does seem to be a bit of a "pile on" for the kid, now and again, from some, for some reason...

As with all the young UK lads, just let them develop and see where they end up...

The sport is desperate for more supply than demand so if these lads only reach tier two second string status they are playing their part....

Will looked fast last night and unfortunate to not get heat 15 after apparently blowing an engine after heat 14.

maybe even more would turn up if the racing was good and they were winning 😃

Sometimes weather dictates as does the opposition, it was a very one sided contest as born out by the score.Klindt was terrific no one else turned up. Allen was his normal self at Wimborne Road, the rest were awful. Lawson did not gate in one race but had little trouble passing both bears before the 3rd bend. Ace was his usual self moaning about his fall, never his fault.

Yes our track for the past 2-3 seasons has been much better than it used to be … and yes it doesn’t suit riders who don’t have a larger skill set but those with talent and desire attack it and make the best of it .

However this season it’s been poor really poor .. I’m not a deluded fan like a lot of Poole fans and just say the racing is excellent at my home track when clearly it isn’t

Bewley doesn’t often do well there but is always complimentary about the track and tries 110% same as Fricke …. The only top riders I see that back off if they miss the gate are Kurtz and both Holders.

I wish all tracks could be like Belle Vue but they aren’t so you pick a side that will go well at home on a track they excel at….. last season at Ipswich we struggled most against Kings Lynn who had Kvech Harris and Lawson as heat leaders … not a patch on Bewley Klindt and Lidsey …. But at Ipswich the first named trio performed better

Poole field their team with gaters and it’s understandable when they have a track like they do .. same as us at Ipswich

I remember an interview with Todd Wiltshire a few years back saying he used to be mesmerised with the skill set of Andrew Silver and Mark Loram on how they rode Arena Essex …. I remember seeing Darcy at Lakeside and he was a genius on that track for someone so young to have that throttle control was unreal

Darcy was a genius at most tracks in all leagues to be fair.

Darcy was not a genius at Lakeside. He hated the place and scored very badly there. 4 points in one meeting I attended.

For balance he also won the Remembering Rico meeting with six wins out of six in 2012, then in 2013 he scored 17 from 6 for Poole, and then paid 19 for Swindon in 2015 so I think we can say he cracked it eventually.

Wow I hope someone can put you right and back me up you clown

2012 Darcy scores 12, 13 and 14 in 3 matches at Lakeside

2013 Darcy scores 17

2014 he didn’t ride there I can’t find if he guested

2015 for Swindon he scored 17

Not a genius at lakeside is a stupid predictable comment from you and a lack of knowledge

I honestly did not look at 2011 he may have scored 4 then I don’t know

I saw Ward twice at lakeside and he was a genius there

Also just checked 2010 Darcy’s first season at Poole

9 from 5

In 2011

Darcy 11 +1 from 4 a paid max

Then 12 +2 from 5

It appears Shovlar is a liar and a bad one at that

If you can find any meeting where Darcy got 4 at lakeside then find it ……it one million percent was not when he was racing for Poole

Shovlar what a clown

Why are they now not giving any riders a couple laps after the start parade as they now put riders round the dog track ?

Because we need more home advantage. 😁😉

A parade is to present riders to crowd not a practice session.

Most seemed pleased with the new parade

I get that bit, and on balance it's probably the better format....... But it does mean that the majority riders then need to do a practice start/adjustment before the start of their first heat. Speedway has to be the only motor sport without practice/set up time.

We all know Shovlar is full of nonsense and lies.

Ward could ride any track and despite his off track antics, was a genuine superstar on a bike.

Its sad that after returning from his ban and clearly maturing, he suffered that shocking injury that finished him.

Arena for me was a great track but preferred it before they made changes to it. Think around 03 they widened it or something.

Its what makes me laugh about people who used to call the likes of Lanham and Colin White one track ponys. They could ride any track but stepped it up a notch around Arena. its a much missed track.
