topaz325
Back to the 6 pm start time this Saturday and another tough test for the Comets with the visit of the Oxford Cheetahs. The Cheetahs team is spearheaded by Heat leaders Sam Masters and Anders Rowe and at the time of writing the Oxford side are still missing Erik Riss because of illness but the team still pose a threat with Luke Killeen and reserves Dayle Wood and Darryl Ritchings. For the Comets we are still waiting for the return of our own injured riders in Craig Cook and Vinnie Foord.
Neila
Another tough meeting for the Comets, hopefully the mid week rain and later start time will help the track preparation,

Hilly
RR for Riss and most likely will need a replacement for Killeen after a big crash tonight.

Neila Posted yesterday at 08:41 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 08:41 AM The return of the cookie monster ( if fully fit 🤔 ) could tip this meeting in the favour of the Comets, more so if Killeen is out injured. Also could have a chance of beating the tiggers on Friday, the Comets have ridden well at ashfield in previous years and the tiggers are having a few close meetings at home , or even getting beat

Depends on how fit cookie is and whether Batchelor turns up. Expect Jeppesen to be good value and tate will be amongst the points. If we get those 4 firing, we should keep it close. The uncertainties are obviously Perry, simpson and jakobsen.

Yes massively impressed by Jeppersen when he guested for Poole at Glasgow so should be a good one.
Neila
Very poor Oxford side listed for Edinburgh, but unfortunately they have better guests on Saturday, with sedgman for riss , cairns for Killeen and mcdiamort back from his trip to Poland

Sedgeman, although he seems a different rider this season, has never performed fantastically around northside (i dont think)

Imo taking the fans of both sides for granted with that side, so won't be much booiing, as Poole are not riding 😜
