Gavan
How did a strengthened Poole side lose to Edinburgh…. Tate far better than Bowes would have been and Harris scoring less than half of what Thompson would have Might be a good result for Poole in this competition but even a 10 point score for Thompson would have been 51-39 …. Bowes never scores at Edinburgh… Edinburgh would be strong contenders to beat Poole over 2 legs of Thompson and Bowes both rode 1

Great result for Edinburgh and a good result for Poole. Is it? Don't think it was what they were aiming for before the meeting. 8+ would have been. 4 minutes ago, Gavan said: How did a strengthened Poole side lose to Edinburgh…. Do you follow scores before commenting? Tate got 4 and even if Bowes got zero, how is that far better? Anyway Dan T prob back for second leg going by Leicester press release which says they think he could be back on June 11th if practice sessions go ok. So one less excuse to use.
Steve Shovlar
Two and four the gates to be on at the end of the meeting but Zack could have shut Thomson out if he had gone wide on bend three of heat 15. Poole were never led until heat 15 and the job has been done, but don’t like losing like that. Cooper should have been replaced in heat 14 with Will. Quite gate and go with riders winning or at the back next time. Mitch Cluff had his best meeting by gating and riding steadily. Harris poor though involved in best race of the meeting with Kyle Newman.
JanAndersen
Very entertaining - tremendous last heat from Sedgy and Kye. Great to see Grahn and Cluff ride so confidently. No.2 isn’t easy so 9pts from there is no mean feat. Jordy and Paco’s form much more of a concern however. Will be good to get Dan back albeit Bomber did his bit tonight

Because four fewer for Bowles would likely have been four more for Edinburgh meaning an eight point swing.

However if Bowes was on zero after 3 rides, likely to bring in Will for one race. Chances are be in a point scoring position, so we will just say 6 point swing

Bowes at Edinburgh scored 0 and 2 last season his replacement got 4 tonight … i don’t care who Bowes beat at Poole the other night it’s irrelevant based on his form at Edinburgh Dan T has scored 13 13 11 and 10 at home his replacement got 5 I’m sure you aren’t Diane Abbott and your maths is pretty good so if Bowes scored 1 tonight and Dan T 12 that’s a total of 13 which is a 10 point swing based on tonight’s scores… it’s all ifs and buts and maybes but clearly if both sides has their 1-7 Poole would possibly have had a heavier defeat
Fromafar
Paco just rides the same line ever race at every track ,a couple of feet from the white line.Making a good living at speedway though, very overrated IMO.

So not much of a difference from 4. If you gonna go through every teams injured riders, every competition will be completely different. Deltalima
Seems like we are damned if we do and damned if we don’t. The lads got stuck in and nearly pulled off the win but overall they gave a good account of themselves. You can forever call the if, buts and maybe but at the end of the day the riders can only race the opposition on track. I was pleased for Kyle as he gave it his all and that’s all you can ask for. Wills and Cooper will only learn from the experience and people thinking that they will wipe out their opposite reserves everywhere they go need to give them a break. These lads and many other youngsters are the future of British speedway and will only improve over time.
GM95
I think any criticism of Jordy is wide of the mark. He was up against two of the best reserves in the league tonight and managed to beat Rushen twice. I think people forget it’s his first full season over here and he’s still only 17. If he can find a bit more consistency out the gate he’ll be fine.
