Garry1603
Looking forward to going to this and seeing Doyle's debut. Ticket sales didn't look promising on the website earlier though. With Kildermand and Blodorn back in the team I can only see a comfortable home win for the Aces, but it will actually be nice to see the team without guests. 52-38 ย ย

If roughly 6500 attended each night of the GP's and around (at least), 50% of them were Aces followers, (as it anecdotally appeared), then that is s lot of money paid out... Conversely, and very positively, it shows that plenty of people locally... a) Know what Speedway is... And b) Know about Belle Vue Speedway and where the NSS is... The challenge is, for not just Belle Vue, but all teams, to get all who follow the sport, and know where their local track is... To deliver up something they see as worth attending regularly.. Can they do that? ... That is truly the question... The following is definitely there, as the play offs regularly show... The infrastructure they use, to get people there regularly, maybe not so... ย Edited Sunday at 05:31 PM by mikebv

I paid for my GP tickets when they came out a few months ago, so the financial 'pain' was a while ago. Would have thought that there might be a few more there tomorrow to see Doyle's debut though. Early days, I guess, but there shouldn't be any weather issues, so I'd have been hopeful of a good crowd.

And Doyley has done probably thousands of laps in the UK... Maybe 1200 (at most) will bother turning up?... My lads four closest mates watched the GP's on TV and all said to him, "Eff me, how good is that?".. None of them had a clue about Speedway... Ironically their dads did!!!! And all said that they would like to go and watch... He told them to go with him to the British Final as there isn't any point attending "a league meeting"... He is 23... A perfect target audience... The British Final will have four brand new Speedway fans.. ย

As a Lions fan, Iโd be surprised if we could get 40 points. I think our engine room of Morris & Kemp will struggle at the NSS. If I was the team manager (which Iโm not and I respect Mr Dickson) I would probably have swapped Thompson & Roweโs riding positions. That said, Iโve never really believed that riding order influences the overall score. Riders are either delivering the points or theyโre not. Phannan
Speedway is always stacked so heavily in the home teamโs advantage. An odd away win now and again. The exception to the rule being Kings Lynn โฆ
