No, he definitely said 1H1A is not enough, like most of the riders and a number of the managers/promoters and the vast majority of the fans... that still attend.

The first heat could have laid down a marker, so all credit to Mario and Freddy. Surely Glasgow have to look at replacing the 2 reserves🌝

Hilly
Awful from Oxford, what on earth was that track all about? Tracks been poor all season for me. Without Riss we have no second heat leader, Rowe is barely contributing 3rd heat leader scores, meaning McDiarmid is riding out of position. Fair play to Glasgow, a deserved victory, a great night for Hodder but any home team should not be letting an away reserve averaging under 3 to go unbeaten.

He spent most of the meeting scraping the fence and not once did it work, while everybody rising the inside of him were disappearing off into the distance. I would have thought he would have worked that out pretty quickly after watching other heats. Alas, he just kept blasting around the outside to no effect.
nagy1
Take a bow Freddy Hodder. I don’t think anyone seen that coming. Phenomenal performance
Odds On
not a bad meeting. Hodder take a bow. Looked like the track was prepared to negate the Bomber high wide and handsome style? Decent looking crowd all things considered.
ruckerroo
The track was good the few times I went last year . It's almost like it's being prepped on the cheap , sadly Oxford are paying for signing a brilliant rider with issues, Riss .
marko
BSN didn’t cover themselves in glory much either when they moaned about people complaining about the track being dusty. You could see from race one this was not going to be good, and why they sent the tractor out I have no idea, there was nothing to grade.
foreverblue
Terrible performance from Oxford, Masters was poor at Belle Vue but better, reserves who have been ok were awful, Kennett is clearly not up to it and Rowe showing why Poole let him go.

Presumably if Poole had won last night it would have been a terrific performance with a big well done to the reserves. 1

Toady
The track’s condition has been appalling for some time now and shows no improvement regardless of the weather. It’s always slick and dusty. Just a couple of seasons ago there was always an outside line and plenty of passing. Think Bomber, Scotty, Charles Wright and others; they were never off it. However Mitch’s performance last night demonstrated otherwise. I know we’re fortunate to have Speedway at Oxford but after what we’ve been used to it’s hard to justify standing around watching the guff that’s being served up now. Perhaps, as another poster suggested, they know the inevitable.
