topaz325
Its England V Scotland this Saturday afternoon, Sea Lions v Rampant Lion...........err no not Football. Workington will be trying for all the League points including the bonus but I haveย a feeling it will not be as easy as last years big win against the Tigers. Workington will feature the new signing of Drew Kemp and hopefully will score a few points on his Comets debut, whilst the Tigers will be full of confidence after their good away win at Oxford on Wednesday evening. The weather in Workington is looking fine for Saturday so hopefully we will see some great racing , Glasgow usually bring plenty of support to Workington so it should be a good atmosphere at the GT Tyres Arena. Neila
Yes tiggers will be on a high and surely bomber can't be as poor as at Oxford. Could be a close one, and the tiggers are bringing a bus of supporters down, plus many in cars, so come on comets fans bring your friends and pack out the GT tyres Northside arena and hopefully cheer on the comets to a win and bonus points ๐๐ตโช๐
Noelinho
Why do I have this fixture in my calendar for next week (27th)? Has it been moved from the original date, or have I just had it wrong the whole time?

SteelShoe
Yeah, quite an intriguing fixture this. I'm sure the GT Tyres arena track will suit the likes of Mario Hausl and KJP, while Bomber, Howarth and Flint need no introduction. Freddie Hodder will also be full of confidence after his top performance in the win at Oxford Wednesday evening. Going to be another close encounter I fancy. Hopefully Vinnie can be solid in the difficult No 2 position. Jordy Loftus in as a guest for Niklas has shown decent form for the Monarchs at Northside so a repeat will be most welcome and I'm looking forward to the battles between the reserves. A repeat of the form shown by Comets debutant Drew Kemp for the Berwick Bandits last season will hopefully help get us over the line . UTC !!! Moved to this weekend, was on the 27th but the FIM have GP 2 qualification meetings, 4 I think all over Europe, comets have Tate and Max riding, think Glasgow have Hausl and maybe anotherย
Woke23 Posted yesterday at 08:58 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 08:58 AM Expecting a close meeting tomorrow. Harris has never dominated at our spot, but i expect all the other riders will do well. ย
Neila
After a day of rain all day in worky, it's dry now and a good forecast for 2morrow, so the track should be in top condition, to make a hopefully good meeting and a Comets win ๐๐๐ตโช. Just hope Max is ok after his off at Redcar tonight ๐ค

Marksman
Shocker of a start today, canโt get out the gate. Said Zischke and Kemp wouldnโt be the best partnership, both looking to ride the same bit of track Edited 3 hours ago by Marksman
Robinh88
Another meeting this season littered with bike issues! As per with Workington some good racing paticularly towards the conclusion. Glasgow worthy of their win today. Workington look very weak i would say.
Marksman
Should of stuck with the original plan of Lewis Kerr guestingย ๐๐ Shocker of a debut for Drew Iโm afraid, especially when weโve been getting 10 points from R/R. Glasgow were lightening out of the start early on and that was that. The racing got good once we became competitive but it was too late. Woke23
Im a bit calmer now but that is an embarrassing result at home. Im not sure what the issues were but maybe the track conditions caught out our riders. Everyone seemed so slow at first and Glasgow were flying out the gates. End of the meeting provided some good quality racing and im thankful because I was going home a stinker otherwise. Although it doesnt matter, im still adamant tate pipped Harris on the line. I would like to see that one againย
