Teromaafan
Lions battled back in the end after getting to grips with the track and there was the odd decent race. I watched this on the Witches stream and wasn’t impressed with their presentation. The younger of the two commentators was amateurish and at times embarrassing. Makes me realise just how good David Rowe is when doing the stream for Lions TV.

40-38
Anyone know what Morris's illness is? I hope he's not caught it from Lawson 😉

TTT
Thought Leicester would've hit 50 pre-meeting tbh, Good to see Nicholls scoring some big points.
Phannan
Lawson should play the illness card every week. He got 11 tonight without even being there…

Settling a little better now though Didn't look likethat at all iif you were there? Was it just Leicester riders and pedersen in his first one? Scottt and Toby had no bother? Those early heats were farcical hence the track grade after heat 2 at the request of the riders. Edited 2 hours ago by Aries
ShanoXtra
The first four heats I thought I was watching an NDL meeting. Shockingly slow and like watching juniors going round the corners. Only Tobi and to be fair Brennan who really hit the ground running to start. Scotty did decent but he normally does at Foxhall. Edward’s good and then bad but in a 7 then you’d take that. Pedersen’s progress was amazing from his first race to his third so he just needs time. Brennan started good then fell off a cliff again, I don’t know if it’s rider or setup but something just isn’t right. All in all, dead atmosphere, average racing and decent weather.

The riders had every right to be unhappy, Douglas and Masters weren’t even remotely interested in their first outing and who can blame them. 3 minutes ago, ShanoXtra said: The first four heats I thought I was watching an NDL meeting. The grade helped slightly after the second heat, but it still took a good few more heats before it settled down properly. Brennan, Nicholls, D Thompson all rightly critical of the conditions in their interviews.

Not many people to be honest, lowest crowd I’ve seen for a while. Saw Chris Louis in the balcony of the VIP on the way out, wonder what he thinks watching this season! I mean he partly created this weak team if we are being totally honest.

What let us down tonight was gating in the later stages … Leicester out gated us in almost the last 6 heats and fair play to them R/R didn’t cost us but 2 from MPT did Brennan looks so poor at the moment .. lifts out of every start and didn’t look like getting close Only my second visit this season but I’m in no rush to hurry back ….. the track was awful if you made the gate that was it ….. Musielek busted a gut in the later heats but no dirt to go around and nothing on the inside…. our track has never been good … but this was awful I’m sure the man on the mic is a nice guy but monotone presentation is not the way forward … he tried a witches war cry that was so flat ….. Kevin Long is an impossible act to follow but this guy is miles off it Im not bothered we lost I like Leicester and the manager is by some way the best in the league but I’m not paying £25 plus £30 in fuel to be bored each week On another note hope Nick Morris is ok he was being violently sick throughout the meeting before being withdrawn … no fast one being pulled there I can assure you
