One league won’t make it better. What you really need to bring in new fans is two leagues which promotion and relegation. The sport needs jeopardy and punishment for finishing last.

Couldn’t agree more with you. I’ve banged on about this before but been told it’s not possible. Obviously too complicated this speedway business. To think they found a covid vaccine in a couple of months….

This league is pants, and the sooner it's back to basics and one league the better. All I will say is congratulations must go to Lynn on a 60 year wait for a first ever win at Sheffield.

Against a truly terrible Sheffield side compared to 2025 but they can only beat what's put in front of them.

8 and 8 somehow a semi decent top league and second division can be made up of the usual old hand double uppers Harris, Lawson, Masters etc and up and coming UK lads and sprinkling of overseas youngsters once home and away with second division tracks having 90% of riders uk based so they can run on a night to suit fans not riders.

Paul Hurry is becoming a joke.

Threw away a BP in our Home meeting vs. Belle Vue by not picking Rider of the Night (Musielak) and has now followed that up by blaming Stewart Dickson for track work taking place during a Home defeat to Leicester.

I don't think Paul has a clue tbh and a new Team Manager for 2027 should be on Mayfield's list of jobs to do.

Give Schroeck a go.

Punishment for what? Everybody gets punished because it's a crap product!

This is my point though, next year Lawson, Harris, masters, even cooper and cairns and many more won’t be able to ride in both the prem and champ which will create an easier way to then have cup matches etc because you won’t have people in theory riding for both clubs potentially. You could have a British cup instead of just a league cup and incorporate all the British clubs in one cup. That would also force Poole and Glasgow and others to jump to the prem as they won’t have a good selection of riders in the champ.

I meant the whole league is a punishment as it's poor quality.

Contrived nonsense...

Simply set up to provide as many riders as is possible to earn a living.

With well meaning, Speedway loving, happy to fund affordable losses, promoters, all colluding together that the sport has some relevance...

Who wins?...

Who cares? ..
