Never mind Geoff! Not sure many thought he was going to get paid 14.

After seeing EK the week before there were many who thought he would get a decent score,he rode very well last night

a Fantastic meeting and a draw probably a fair result

Good result for Scunthorpe, Poole could win at many tracks, so this could be seen as a point gained, rather than a point lost.

But must be very unhappy with MPT, I'd suggest he was signed mostly for his home form, so that was very disappointing & cost Scunthorpe the win (this coming from someone who normally defends him).

Well that was certainly a cracking meeting with some great races throughout, Pickering showing his true class with Ablitt and Harrison chipping in as well! Just a shame Palm Toft was way off it again losing us the meeting. However unfortunately I don’t see any obvious replacements for Palm Toft!

Kennett? If Oxford let him go.

Can’t imagine Kennett wanting to sign for scunny plus will Oxford actually let him go as there’s no sign of Riss returning. It’s a shame we can’t quite fit Vuolas in as we would be 0.13 over the limit.

I was very impressed with Harrison. I hadn't realised that he was so good.

Hes an excellent young rider. Jody Scott is in the same boat, theyve both been overshadowed a bit by the understandable fanfare over Cairns & Rushen but we have a fantastic small crop of U19s/U21s at the moment.

With the focus that Cairns and Rushen have had, he is somewhat "under the radar"..

Which sometimes is no bad thing...

Very good, and steady, incremental progress over the past few years...

A bright future for him I would suggest..

He's got a great attitude. He's also got a dedicated family behind him, putting the miles in home and particularly abroad. As you say, he's under the radar a little, but he's got a great future in the sport.
