OASIS are playing down the road in Manchester on these dates, hope they don’t arrange a GP at Belle Vue in June

hotel prices reported being up 400%

Etihad Stadium, Manchester: 4, 6, 8, 11, 12, 15, 18, 19, 22, 25, 26 June

Don't worry the speedway organisers won't take any notice of these, then will wonder if a date release classes with them why people aren't rushing to buy tickets

Sportowefakty article today is mentioning Gillman Speedway in Australia will hold a GP in 2028. What it doesn’t say is if that will finish the 2027 Championship or be start or finish of the 2028 event.

Also mentions that a speedway track is being built in Spain, makes perfect sence with the amount of sunny days they have a year, perfect place for European riders to practice out of season.

A new European style track is also being built  the USA.
Spain might be suitable during the winter, but Spain is a very hot and dry country so perhaps not that suitable to speedway.

A Grand Prix at Gillman in Adelaide? A very good holiday destination with great wineries, awesome beaches, and a decent city centre.

I'd put Gillman as a venue in the same bracket as places like Vojens, grass banks for spectators, and would definately need temporary seating.

Fantastic idea. A great race track.
Unfortunately the (very large) costs and logistics involved are prohibitive sadly.

If the local authorities help out, like Cardiff used to, with the staging costs, it could maybe work..?

A suburb of Adelaide and is only about 9 miles away from the city centre...

can someone convince me a GP at Ipswich is a good idea?

Isn't the capacity well over 10,000?...

Improve the track for racing and I would think they could get 10,000 there considering KL, Peterborough and Mildenhall all will have a fair few in attendance...

5,000 or so attended the PO final didn't they?...

A weekend in Ipswich would be OK...
