As CEO its good that P Morris is independent and for now that's about as much as we can hope for. In the current climate its no use a sport relying on the board to run matters solely by themselves. Sub divisions of proactive promoters looking into wider matters is required and they should report to specific members. Of course as CEO PM should be leading the business and day to day decision making whereas (and I stand to be corrected) it appears matters have to go through the chair for his sanction.
The good news is that besides the board there are new promoters with strong and refreshing views, hopefully they will not be held back.

Phil Morris is CEO only of the Premiership, initially put in place to improve the product for TV presentation.. Mondays and Thursdays are 'priority' days for Prem racing, as agreed with FIM, to avoid (or at least minimise) clashes for riders who race in other countries. For example,What happens if an interested TV company doesnt see Mons/Thurs suiting their schedules, whether it be from Mr Morris or Mr Mayfield?

As there appears to be at least 2 very different camps, maybe the Prem and Championship should have separate management and administration, like they had back in the old British and National leagues

Sounds like a plan so long as it means no doubling up/down

Maybe two separate camps under their own management but still under the auspices of the SCB/ACU to ensure alignment with the FIM is a way forward. Tier one for the fully professional league and tier two for a semi professional league. with very limited, if any, doubling up or down of riders to force the two tiers to work within their scope of operation.

Under their own management means under their agreed rules. Why shouldn't riders race in both leagues if they wish? It could be seen as restraint of trade if put to the test? The likes of Glasgow, Edinburgh, etc and Poole can retain their  preferred racenight

Doubling up/down should be for young Brits to develop, not for journeymen to top up their pensions. Just like guests its got completely out of hand. Many supporters want their team to have its own identity which means riders who aren't popping up elsewhere in the UK on any given night.

Depends on the contract  - no reason why they can't be exclusive

It is common practice for contracts to exclude working elsewhere or require permission - particularly in the same sector

'Journeymen' can still be very professional in whatever league(s) they race in. Young Brits need to race against more experienced riders - not of GP level - in order to gain experience before being pitched in against the GP-level racers.

They do, and will do so if they double up and the older ones pick one league or the other 👍

Doubling up has never been the issue, we had it from the 70's

Doubling down from the top to below, we never had and thats caused the issues over time.

Spot on....

Monday's and Thursday's were set aside for the UK so the top tier teams could bring GP riders over....

Of course it was ...😁

id like to see just the 1 race night next season, preferbly monday, 1 home match every 2 weeks, facing each team just once home, once away, i think you could entice more riders over if they didnt have to fly in twice a week. they then get more family time from wednesday/thursday till weekend

Mafs ain’t maffing for me there Phil! Six team league once home and away is five home league fixtures. If you’re having one home meeting every fortnight then that’s one hell of a short season!

I think that's what the likes of Bewley and Lambert have alluded to.

UK on Monday

Sweden on Tuesday

Denmark on Wednesday

More like a Soccer concept - home one week and away the next

If they had a spare week every 4th week for rain offs it would allow some form of continuity.

Perfect for the GP riders should any of them wish to come over here.

Hence so many do Poland, and Sweden, with some doing Denmark too..

Riders of the level that the UK would want, If they did Poland, UK and Sweden, would be finished by Tuesday, so would have Wednesday and Thursday clear and be well prepared for either a Friday Polish league match, or a GP2, or a Saturday GP or Polish Sunday league match..

Any Thursday Polish matches would also no longer impact the UK...

Once a fortnight speedway at each track over here, like happens elsewhere..

Why would a sport run on a day when crowds will be generally at their lowest?

Monday may work best for the Aces, but there’s a reason why most of the Premiership clubs race predominantly on a Thursday.

Louis referenced it a number of times, and Coleman re-iterated it recently that for the Witches crowd numbers on a Monday are significantly lower than a Thursday.
