NC86
Crucial winter for Redcar following a very mediocre season , only one true heat leader in Klindt / Wright the former who did such a great job stepping in for the skipper and Charles himself when he coming back from such a nasty injury and his own personal issues, achieving such a magnificent return including being Britains best rider behind the World Champion in the GB team in the WTC. On to 2027 , I’d love a top two of Wright and Klindt but fear the stupid 8 point rule will scupper that , a return for Danny King would be very welcome , but we must keep Jody Scott who I think has been the 2026 rider of the year and next season will be massive for him, as for the rest , very inconsistent and for a few I think a change would be as good as a rest, but we know this sport is a numbers game and there ain’t no Man City in this league to bend the rules apart from Poole of course, an interesting winter coming up.
Diamonds85
1. Charles Wright 2. Jake Mulford 3. Jody Scott 4. 5. Danny King 6. 7. 2.00 Fill the last 2 spots in based on average limit, should be quite a lot left to get a really solid reserve in 4+ average and a 5.5/6ish number 4. If the average limit is 40 then Nathan Ablitt and McDiarmid/Mountain fits. If it's 38 then maybe Max Perry/Vinnie Foord and McDiarmid/Mountain My vote for the 2.00er is Charlie Southwick, I feel he has a lot to give, knows the track well and I get the feeling that the championship will be much weaker next year, so even if he just maintains a 2 point average. RedcarBearliever
Probably very little change if still 40 point limit. NO. 4 JASON EDWARDS NO.6 ACE PIJPER =40 Points exactly after Brit reduction

Ace Pijper 4.15 7. Charlie Southwick 2.00 39.99. would be a solid team, if the limit is 40. Personally, I love Jason Edwards he's one of my favourite riders, but I'd like to see him move on, keep the Redcar team fresh and have Jason move on and improve himself, staying at the same track for years on end is never a great idea for progression. Fortythirtyeight
Bears need changes, riders and , it seems track curator who has now left the club. That position is harder to find than a high potential 2 pointer ! When’s George, sorry, the new promoter getting announced ? Rules are rules so can’t fit in Wright and Klindt. Will Wright get a Polish top league contract and go Premiershipas his two leagues ? I doubt it but you never know . if he does Klindt has to be the man. Think Scott will be in big demand next season but would love to see him at Redcar again. Id keep Pijper and possibly Mulford as a second string with still some progression in him. Edwards needs to move on if he has ambition , if not , he’ll be the same again next season , inconsistent! Same with Allen , he does well at home but his away form isn’t great . Lambert needs to retire or stay NDL. New signings ? Ziscke ? Southwick ? Kemp ? Ablit ?

Motorcycles Paranoia rules! Even if Poole did propose the "one over eight" regulation -- which was no bad thing, helping to even up club strengths -- the rule had to be accepted by the majority of clubs when it was voted on. It's called democracy.
Bellers101
Signing Jody Scott should be the priority. Would also keep Pijper. Wright would normally be a shoe in but I'm not sure now his heads been turned by Poland. How many meetings will he miss when he prioritises Poland over Redcar? Would chase the rest. The management also seem a bit too friendly with some riders. They need to be a bit tougher with the underperforming riders. Fromafar
Your head would be turned if offered an Extraleague Position late in your career (provided he gets paid). If sitting in the pits pays more than 5rides a meeting in GB good luck to him. Charles is a 100% rider and wish him well whatever comes up.
