Well that was certainly the allegation of Messrs Sandhu and Frost back in 2010.

But for the most part I'd say that the BSPL are too incompetent to organise a decent conspiracy.

Is the BSPL or whatever they call themselves corrupt? Probably. But to make an allegation you need good solid evidence to back it up.

It needs someone to make this organisation transparent so if anyone out there wants to take on the challenge....

Sandhu calling someone else corrupt?

Isn't that the pot calling the kettle, er, black?

You won't find anyone who rode for him, having a a bad word said against him, he backed his Riders 100%, the BSPA thought he was easy pickings, like most new Promoters, they treat them like a meal ticket. Trouble was, he was far, far smarter than them all put together, they called his bluff one to many times and lived to regret it.

Always remember the night Tatum was trying to get the meeting called off, as it was pretty damp, after a couple of track inspections, and a big pit meeting, Sandhu walked in the pits, explained to everyone that if the meeting was called off, Speedway would end for good there and then, end of conversation, Kelvin sulked, Bees won and crowd loved it.

I think that Speedway in latter times has been a closed shop run by and for what in my opinion is a bunch of spivs and wide boys.  They effectively forced Frost and arguably Sandhu  out of the sport and probably Ged Rathbone too. In days of yore the sport was in the hands of hard nosed business men  who however had standards and  honour and integrity.

If you are referring to the CO and Ronnie Greene they were all about closed shops when Mike Parker appeared on the scene panic struck the cartel of the National league.

Stories of malpractice and corruption flew around but it goes back to the nature of the sport looking after your own it’s just a bit more nastier these days.

Afraid your looking back at speedway promoting history through rose tinted glasses.
