Update from Stoney: The Clock is Ticking: Final Call to Back the Banger for the SRBF! In just 11 days, we take on the Skinflint Rally: Naughty to Nice 2026—an endurance marathon taking a £500 banger from Folkestone to Calais, through Dijon, the Swiss mountain passes, Italy, Monaco, and finally into Nice. This isn't about speed; it’s an epic test of mechanical survival, grit, and absurd daily challenges. Points make prizes, but the real victory is raising every penny we can for our heroes—the injured and fallen speedway riders supported by the Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund (SRBF). We’ve begged, borrowed, and tuned this car ourselves to make sure every single pound raised goes directly to the Ben Fund. Want your name or business along for the ride? £100 Bodywork Sponsor: Get your name, company logo, or personal message of support immortalised on the car. Roof Void Prime Real Estate: Got a bigger contribution in mind? We have prime space available on the roof for maximum visibility (and maximum glory). Deadline: Tuesday, 1st September. This is our last chance to fill the remaining spaces on the car before we roll up to the starting line. Join us, support a tremendous non-profit cause, and follow along for daily rally updates—and keep your eyes peeled for the documentary coming this winter! Let’s make this legendary. Forecast was awful for the weekend probably enough rain on Friday to ruin the track any way , the plan was to show the SWC after the meeting .

I think Nicholls' injury and their inexperience at reserve has probably cost Plymouth; Berwick always seem to have a habit of flattering to deceive however good their team looks. That said they have been excellent at home, but have fallen apart away once or twice when looking good for the win. Oxford were the big surprise for me although with a fully fit Riss I'm sure they'd have had a much better year.

After three heats it seemed like Berwick were going to throw last night's match, some come back from seven points down. Congratulations Bandits, bonus point well and truly won!

Well yes I wrote Scunny off, what happened to Berwick and Plymouth I kinda thought it could be a great year for those two. In fact of course Berwick are still in with a chance of a double. (BSN 58-31 behind, after away leg).

I must have imagined it when I watched them all race in the national league then. Riders always progress, rather than discredit the opposition, I prefer to give them credit and think it’s great to see riders like Luke Harrison, Will Cairns and Cooper Rushen developing and not only doing well in the championship but in the premiership as well
