Nice to see three Aces reserves past & present (plus an ex Colt) hunting for more FIM gold. Love to see the system working.

So Dan Gilkes back for Leicester next week
-
Given his age what do you suggest he should have previously done, clean chimneys?
-
what 16 year.. old can pay for all his own stuff.

Yes it was confirmed last night at the NSSC. 310mtrs. Apparently the 396mtrs was an original measurement by the owners around the perimeter of the track, not the inner kerb/white line.

Northampton Foxes co-promoter Paul Hunsdon was the guest speaker at the NSSC last night. With news breaking just before the meeting that the venue had passed the SCB Inspection the atmosphere was really positive. Paul said; Tickets can be purchased on-line or on entry to the track by card or cash. Large free car park. OK to take camping chairs etc. Sensible entry checks. No bottles but OK with food and soft drinks, tea etc. Large bar, food outlets and seating for 750 otherwise large grass banks. All ticket information here; https://northampton-speedway.com/tickets-hospitality

Now, I’m probably being even thicker than usual but which team manager has got a team place for his son? I assume you mean UK and just can’t think who it might be
-
No doubt in my mind that many riders refused due to the 'no money/more money elsewhere' angle for the reserve. I would take a different stance where a GB place was concerned and good luck to Cairns, much rather have riders that want to be there - his Grandad's also a lovely fella.

Download the Amazon Silk browser, then search for it on that, it works fine.

When asked what the track length was on TwitterX British Speedway (surprisingly) replied 310m... and not the 396m that is stated elsewhere 🤷♂️

What will 2026 UK speedway bring?
ouch replied to Lionsman66's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
So if we get all the above back it will create meaning in meetings? Televised speedway ran along side the sports biggest demise in decades. I’m not saying it’s the reason for it but neither will it be the saviour to have it back. Coming from you, the comment about top stars is confusing given your repeated suggestion that they don’t matter. With regards racenights between then and now, for every Wednesday, Friday or Saturday club there were and are Monday & Thursday clubs. Touting Wednesday as a speedway night again is at odds with your previous thinking where weekends are the goal. As with a lot of stuff on here when suggesting ideas to take the sport forward we get confusion and contradiction when drilling down to the fine detail. “First out of the gate always wins” was the common complaint from folk when speedway was mentioned. As a sport we have leaned into this rather than rail against it making the sport tedious & boring and we have continually charged more for people to “enjoy” it. I’ve more than halved my attendance of the sport due to this but that’s better than most how have reduced theirs by 100%. - Today

There are parallels in cricket, where players have opted out of international cricket to play the more lucrative white ball circuit

All I can say is that Lynn's win the other night very much meant something to me and many people standing around me, there was lots of jumping around and shouting especially during heats 2, 4, 14 and 15. Proper emotion and joy. I'm still hoarse. -
£27 for a grandstand ticket, is that “normal” for the top league?
-
Kings Lynn ran R/R for him the other night so that should see him out of Friday and Saturday`s fixtures.

At the end of it all, I`m just delighted that Berwick are continuing their fine tradition of having a centre green presenter who think and believe that they are the star of the show and see the racing as an annoying interruption to their pearls of wisdom. - Yesterday

Think it lucky that GB Speedway Team has been subbed out or the team could very well have been Simon Lambert (c) Bomber Mark Lemon Peter Shocker & Middlo
