Redcar vs Workington, BSN Series 10/04/26
Midget replied to Marksman's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Was an enjoyable meeting. Klindt replacing the unlucky charles wright actually makes redcar stronger. Craig Cook looked like the Craig Cook of old, the new dane looks a real prospect an was well worth more than 2 points. Jamie Erherington looked way out of his depth. Tate needs to sharpen up his starts. R.E the track, this is where british speedway really shoots itself in the foot, it was dry all day and a suitable race surface should be prepared to last an evening meeting in that time, supporters should not have to watch tractor racing for over an hour on a cold night. -
There's an interview with co-promoter Tony Gaul on this weeks Speedway360 show... unfortunately, as usual, most of it is inaudible because of the constant sound issues on that show đ From what I could hear, Mark Lemon does get a lot of mentions.

Well I thought scunny put in a spirited performance last night despite the tie being realistically over. Pickering class as usual whilst the young guns of Ablitt and Ingram both impressed me a lot! -
Kings Lynn vs Ipswich KOC April 13th 7.30pm
Steve Irving replied to Aries's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
You donât win things by going with two rising stars at reserve, you just donât. Lynn have got their strategy all wrong here, again. No issue with signing Fricke, although saddled with such a high average in a league that reduced it total team building average obviously comes with issues in building the rest of the team, but they needed to be far smarter. They should have left out one of Harris, Cook or Kvech and gone for a couple of 4-5 pointers giving them a bit more scoring power and experience in the senior reserve position. They wonât win a bean with this team. -

CTD26 replied to Marksman's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Even if it wasnât, the track was a disgrace all night. Wasted 40 minutes trying to rectify it and it was no better. Fella on the tractor didnât look like he had a clue. -

Didnât really know what to expect last night but it was an encouraging start for the new lads. Kevin once he got to grips with the wide open spaces that Armadale provides looked better as the night went on. Mario on the other hand struggled big time the fear on his face when he saw the track was only ever matched by Leon Madsen. Anyway we have booked him with a psychologist pre next visit to tell him the track is really Wroclaw. Should work. Leons exclusion was one of the most ridiculous decisions I have witnessed by any referee. But encouraging signs for both teams. -

You do realise the guy is absolutely garbage away from the place. -
Kind of went how most Glasgow matches have went in recent times built up a lead then throws it away. Cluff as predicted awful, Grahn better as the meeting went on, Paco shouldâve been dominating that heat 14 instead was pottering about behind his team mate. The rest doe their jobs. Thought Harris was lucky to not go in Heat 1, didnât really turn into bend 1 and ran into the side of Dan T, bit of a cop out from the ref that one. Anyway good to see our season finally kick off and hopefully most improve from here.

Castagna is and was my biggest worry when he signed for the new season.Have to give him a bit of time though. If he don't improve then Kerr would be a good option, especially at home. Quite happy with Scott,he's only young like Rushen so just needs time imo. -

Did you watch it? I stood on the second bend with my dad and uncle and enjoyed it. If theyâd have heavily watered the track and one of the isolated heavy showers I drove through en route half an hour before the meeting started had landed putting the meeting off with already 1000+ in the stadium that wouldâve been a far bigger disaster on opening night than a bit of dust -
Yes Ben, sorry didnât think about there being more t than one đ€Ș

The way apb's are made, each bag has 8 fastening d rings at the rear and are held together with 6 straps . When you see bags flying into the air, I can only assume that someone hasn't been doing them all up.

Think I will wait and see. Will buy my ticket once it is 100% confirmed the gates will open. Shame it has been such a dreadful messâŠ..communications have not been of a decent standard.

You are very welcome paul, because you and your lad (and others like him) are the very reason the club is being run.

Oxford 2026
TheWellBehavedWorrall replied to Youhave2minutes's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Oxford speedway on 07/04: âTwo entities - neither of which are us - terminated their agreement, so weâre unable to fulfil our first competitive meeting, throwing our season and entire existence into doubt before the season proper has even began. Weâll keep you postedâ. Radio silence. Oxford speedway on 10/04: âGet your tickets for the next home meeting!â This isnât just poor communication; itâs blatant disregard for the supporters of Oxford speedway. I feel sorry for Cheetahs fans who deserve better. -

Redcar vs Workington, BSN Series 10/04/26
Neila replied to Marksman's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Was not a bad meeting for the comets plenty of positives to take away, especially since it was the 1st time on track as a team, the young Dane is certainly a racer never gave up, deserved more than 2 points, were on 5-1 s twice, until Vinnie binned it in the fence after violently lifting off the 4th bend, hope Vinnie is ok and the bike isn't too badly bent, but did not look good. Then Tate went wide when on 5-1 with cookie, battled back for 3rd place. More good times to come UTC đđđ”âȘ
