  1. Past hour
  2. If you go to their website here: https://www.orzel.lodz.pl/ and click where it says IMME tickets, you'll see a bit where you can either login or sign up. That's where you need to create your account. Once you've done that, when the SGP tickets come live, you'll only need to login quickly and be ready the moment they go on sale. Keep me updated if you need anything more please.
  3. Good interview and fair play to Rob for agreeing to do it, you could tell he was not very comfortable and that's no doubt because he thinks the speedway fan base is against him. Make no mistake about it he has made decisions before that adversely affected my club when they were around BUT i still want what is best for the sport and i want it to succeed so i want Rob and all involved in the running of it to succeed too. Even if fans don't all agree with the way forward, we all we want the sport to grow.
  4. Today
  5. Regardless of how well he does or not its a fantastic announcement Simply stops the talk of the toe rag signing and should silence the 1 who claimed he had signed for workington Scunthorpe his only option for season start now
  6. 2 x 3 day meetings, both Friday to Sunday, so in theory shouldn't impact too much on speedway being run on a Monday or Thursday. Deane Wood works very hard on the track over these weekends, often starting the prep for the following day as soon as the meeting has finished, then back on it again from early morning. The 2 meetings are 11th-13th and 25th-27th. The only dates that may be unavailable for speedway in that month would be the Mondays immediately following those weekends.
  7. It will be before Man Utd win 5 games for sure 😉
  8. He has contracts elsewhere too so liked in places other than Argentina. I think he had a decent season at Leicester last season, I totally get his attitude annoys the fans, I used to get annoyed when he rode for Poole but he also wins races beating other teams heat leaders so you gave to take the rough with the smooth sometimes. Next season he should be the best reserve in the league so should score well home and away. On occasions he could be the match winner .
  9. With respect a tv deal with Prime or Netflix I believe would have a negative impact on the sport it show it up for what it is a Disney tv show would be more fitting
  10. Hats off to the Comets management, who once again introduce a new rider to British speedway, just a shame that the asset rules changed, and they now don't own or get future loan/transfer deals from them.
  11. As a previous volunteer at two tracks I can assure you I have probably attended my fare share of BYC rounds at a number of tracks over the last 10 years so I do actually know what I’m talking about. Saturday daytime meetings attracted family and friends plus around twenty fans and neither track charged an entry fee for spectators. As for riders ‘ making an impact ‘ I wouldn’t have a clue about Belle Vue but the two tracks I have attended have supplied dozens of riders into the NDL and several into the championship. In Redcars heyday , when they did fortnightly practices and had hire bikes , they had to run two junior teams due to the amount of youngsters taking part, but that has all died away . Workington are bucking this trend and are improving season by season.
  12. When they gonna announce that march 😂😂😂🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
  13. Now to see who the final piece of the jigsaw is.... could it be a returning rider or could it be a rider previously mentioned. Soon be spring when we get a chance to see the septet in action.
  14. Most of the junior championships have been stand alone events at Belle Vue. It’s only since Covid that they have followed our junior team meetings. Unfortunately, speedway fans talk the talk when it comes to supporting junior development and just don’t come out in any numbers. It’s someone else’s problem. With regards the last question then no recent rider has made an impact from any track that supports youth development - yet. It doesn’t happen that quickly. The current one that has made an impact is our Dan but unfortunately Peter Collins, Andy Smith, Joe Screen, Carl Stonehewer, Dan Bewley types don’t come along that often. https://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/16008/round-belle-vue-13-2016 https://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/17086/round-belle-vue-05-2017 https://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/18095/round-belle-vue-28-2018 https://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/19002/round-belle-vue-22-2019 https://www.speedwaygbarchive.co.uk/britishyouth20
  15. Yeah just carry on with the same old same old carp, and the same old faces, I had genuinely thought LR may have brought in a new face albeit one that can be outspoken and has ridden for a few teams over the years, then again maybe he is to much his own man for LR's liking.
  16. My point would be is that we shouldn’t be make up ANY rules regarding reducing averages. You are just opening the usual can of worms that devalue the sport as professional. A rider’s average is his average .simple.
  17. You’d think we’ll hear something this coming week at some point, one way or the other! The “within two weeks” timeline from Louis expires this coming Tuesday.. Think we’re fortunate in a way that the BSPL are desperate for us to run! If Oxford and Birmingham we still coming to the Premiership tapes, I’m convinced we’d have been given a deadline to confirm our participation, and that would have now expired! Got to feel for all the others who are sitting and waiting for Louis, so they can get their fixtures and season tickets on sale.
  18. Jakobsen sounds like an exciting prospect, good to have some new blood in the Championship. The But for me has to be the fact he has four 2026 contracts, you would like to know where Workington come on the priority list. Not so great if he were to only ride half the time like say Nagel in 25. Hope I get to see him race down here at Wimborne Road though.
  19. British Youth Championships at Belle Vue are not stand alone meetings and follow Colts matches. Where you get 20 people watching shows how little you follow the events. Watching the new stars learning and honing their skills is essential to British Speedway and I can assure you I have never seen as few as 20 spectators at any event. If the clubs do not want to cough up for the future stars then shame on them and sod them when they come calling for the next hot prospect. Can you name one rider who actually started in the begining at Belle Vue recently and made an impact on the sport?
  20. I wonder how many times in life have we all been served by someone with a violent past?.. We simply didn't know it, but, I am sure some people who were severely impacted by their actions must have.. Yet, they couldn't determine the future of the ex con... Just the way society works..
  21. A great number of fans who closely follow the sport, and live just a few miles from their local track, don't bother attending regularly... There will be for sure, the "novelty value" initially, but, ultimately, when that wears off after a couple of meetings, it still will be UK Speedway you will be watching... And we all know how successfully delivered that is...
  22. I agree that the team appears top heavy, IF Cook is in the right space and Zischke regains his form the team will be very strong all depends on the IF
  23. Whilst I can't argue over time & distance you have provided. I will say that getting the fans of those clubs to travel is another task entirely. I have attended Oxford since their comeback & With Coventry, Swindon Lakeside, Rye House, Reading, Bristol, Newport & Somerset all within a sensible travel time few fans from these clubs are seen at Oxford.
  24. I wonder what you would do if an ex con turned up to your house as a labourer to a skilled worker.
