  2. OK so who? can't just leave it at that. Eastbourne? More handy for me if it were Southampton.
  3. Just finished watching this meeting as the Mrs accidentally recorded the athletics instead, fantastic meeting, woryna deserved winner
  4. A great comeback from the Comets to win the meeting, well done to Jonas and captain Batch on a great 5-1 in ht 15 . What can you say about Troy Batchelor a great team man for the Comets for 3 years now, if he does carry on in 2027 he will certainly be welcomed back at Workington in my humble opinion. Hope the gentleman who had a fall in the pits is ok . Great to see the Comets back in 2027.
  5. From what I'm hearing you may have another south coast club to visit in 2027 as well.
  6. Good to see max made the journey up despite not being able to ride!
  7. Hopefully we are starting next year with Scott as the first on the team sheet.
  8. There were 12 participants listed, but only 9 started. A further two (Norman & Fletcher [?] ) withdrew leaving just 7.
  9. 19.09.2026' SEC R3 Rzeszów: https://vksport.vkvideo.ru/live-53550004_456242874
  10. Were the four riders mentioned in the result the only participants?
  11. Will be in the championship in 2027 won’t be Premier
  12. Take a bow batch showed some real good riding tonight once again fantastic racing from both teams and great news about next year, crowd looked good aswell, shame the juniors missed out hope whoever fell down the steps is ok
  13. Good news the comets are back in 2027, unfortunately missed what sounded a good meeting 😄🔵⚪🏁. Can now spend me winter planning various away trips, especially to see me friends in Poole 😜🤣
  14. That was a entertaining meeting some cracking racing on a great track.Woryna is box office. IMO.He had his detractors like Tatum but like Lebedevs gives it 100%.
  15. Having watched that meeting, Mario found an inside line that worked for him (and pretty much no one else in the meeting). Memory is a little hazy but I think he finished 3rd in every heat, beating the other countries number 2 rider, but not their number 1. Blodorn was flying out the gates and won most of the heats and Germany 6-3'd their way to victory (4-3-2-0 scoring). I thought at the time that Hausl had over performed in that meeting. A lack of track time at Ashfield hasn't helped, but I think his own choices in not practising are a big cause of that. Our licence has no, or very little, restrictions on it so he could practice pretty much any time he liked
  16. I wasn't there but saw it on World of Sport. I have never seen a replay of it, although I did see an advert for a DVD on 70s speedway and it showed about 2 seconds of it. Even that traumatised me!
  17. I think Mario was signed purely off the back of that one good meeting in SoN2.
  18. Mario doesn't seem to like damp conditions, which makes me wonder why he joined Glasgow! 🤣 Maybe Leon Flint only knows how to say 'sunny' in German and not 'rainy' 🤷‍♂️ (I'm assuming as they both ride for Landshut that Leon had some involvement in Mario joining Glasgow). As for home track advantage...the extra dirt compared to how other tracks are prepared (especially when Glasgow are visiting) is probably the main point of difference, some riders handle that better than others. For riders that can pass, Ashfield also normally gives them the opportunity to try
  19. Firstly , great news that the Comets will reappear in 2027 , the sport needs clubs but I do wonder how they will turn things around as they just can’t seem to attract enough of a crowd regularly to make championship level work for them and the patchy fixture list hasn’t helped. Good win today though. As for the Bears this was yet another example of how inconsistent they can be. Yet another lead blown away and points lost. Fielding two guest reserves in the main body today didn’t help. The ‘friendly family’ need to think again and Allen , Edwards and Mulford need to move on for their own careers as much as anything. Swopping Jenkins for Lambert was a disaster . Perhaps the new ‘old’ promoter will use his experience and savvy and bring that ruthlessness that’s needed to the club ? Yes, I do know they are in a cup final but I can’t see the Bears winning the home leg never mind the tie.
  20. I can only echo everyone else’s comment. A true sportsman in every sense of the word . Like Broady, Briggo and Super Simmo Martin didn’t need a race jacket because you could always tell him by his unique style , except that he was super-tidy on the bike. A natural talent.
