  1. Past hour
  2. Plenty of effort from Team GB but not enough speed BUT Flint, Wright + Ellis can all be proud of their effort just not at the top level needed to get on the podium. Lambert proved he is at the top of the sport currently and going to be competitive with Vojens and Torun remaining in the SGP series. Australia fully deserved the win and got ahead early and then as the meeting went on picked up the necessary points and remained competitive all night. Superb first corned by Doyle even if with the Gold medal won. Poland should have dropped Kubera out earlier and got Woryna involved earlier sure the Polish press would be pointing fingers. Whether the riders chosen or for having the meeting in a great venue BUT not a permanent race track.
  3. Today
  4. Even if Sheffield ran without guests for their remaining 4 meetings they would most likely finish in front of Lynn. The best you can possibly end the season on is 25 points. To do that you have got to beat Leicester home and away, having already lost both legs of the R1 fixtures, and win away at Northampton which you failed to do in R1. Sheffield are on 20 points and more than likely going to take 3 from the Northampton home fixture, and would probably beat Belle Vue at home even if they ran with R/R for Holder. Having missed the 2022 playoffs through injury, Fricke has obviously decided that he may as well get settled in with his 2026 play off team early to give himself a good chance of a medal. šŸ˜‰

  6. Sums up succinctly why the sport is not credible in the UK and it needs to reinvent itself and stop pretending that it should be a full time occupation for riders when the club owners treat it as a hobby and it is about time some riders got the message. Most are not good enough to justify it as a full time job where you want to earn over six months an annual salary. Those riders gracing the UK tracks are simply not good enough to qualify as speedway professionals but are OK to race having honed certain skills but that does not justify the riders demands. Go back to part time and stop expecting everyone to owe you a living.
  7. Poor refereeing tonight, if this was an English match they would be slated on here but I guess not everyone understands the translation of polish on the stream. Everybody shocked Pawlicki was not DQ in heat 5 and heat 6 should have been awarded with the stoppage due to the advertising on the air fence. Also aware Paluch was very close to getting DQ in his first run due to his bike! It was an eventful match and happy to be attending to the second leg in Gorzow on Friday to watch Falubaz lose šŸ‘ŠšŸ» šŸ˜ŽšŸ˜‚
  8. There has been a big step forward. Something has just clicked this year. The social media side, the racing. Interaction between crowd and riders, the chance of actually winning something. It’s a pleasure to watch and be part of. We are all so quick to criticise but credit where it’s due, and it is due. Well done to all at Berwick. And it’s not done yet.
  9. That was a decent meeting. Never let the fans down and off track entertainment allegedly. Almost up with WWEšŸ˜„ . Thanks to both sets of riders for putting on a good show. Hopefully the supporters continue to follow the sport and that does not fade because if the Polish supporters get bored because of the lack of big hitters coming through to take over from the Dudeks of this world then speedway has a problem. Onward to the next round.
  10. Crowd levels has certainty been good and there is an atmosphere in the ground this season, the racing has certainly been more entertaining IMO.
  11. So... Does Max score well for Sheffield to pretty much guarantee Sheffield qualify for the Play Offs at the expense of his KL team mates, the KL management and the KL fans, many of whom will have paid out plenty to watch him ride for them at KL this season..?... (The upside of course meaning he can then ride for Sheffield in those Play Offs and earn a fair few quid)... Or? Does he not ride well for Sheffield as there is still an outside chance his own team could make the Play Offs, whereby he could then still earn a fair few quid riding for Kings Lynn in the Play Offs, but not let down his own KL team mates, the KL management, and the KL fans...? Decisions, Decisions... Maybe he should ask Ben Cook what to do?..
  12. Brilliant news. Reid isn’t just performing on the bike there are new fans turning up just to see him. And that’s exactly what we need. Does the business on track and makes a huge effort with people. Something has just changed this year the atmosphere in the ground has been incredible. Part of that is home wins part of it is the rider interaction with the paying punters. I do truly believe that Reid, fresh faced and doggedly determined to ride to the best of his ability is a huge part of that. Well spotted Dick.
  13. Hes already had some senior outings over there so can't imagine he won't do the same in 2027.
  14. Brilliant meeting at Zeilona Gora, pity they made a man made circle to hold the World Team Champ last night.Very little any real racing IMo.Close but no straits to build up speed.
  15. If he only did U24 he could... Maybe? I think! Possibly???.. You would think that the rules would have been confirmed and announced by now wouldn't you?.. The UK were getting next season sorted "early" weren't they?.. Although, they were also going to get the Cups completed "early" too...
  16. Wonder if this was a ā€œtacticalā€ call off. Doyle has been guesting for Sheffield lately and with Belle Vue’s meeting postponed the night before, and him living in Norwich and obviously being a track specialist, I wonder if the Ipswich management got wind of him guesting. I’d be staggered if Sheffield hadn’t asked him. As it is, rerunning the meeting on the same night as all the other fixtures again forces Sheffield in to R/R
  17. If Poland get their way he couldn’t do Prem and Champ.
  18. They're British. Aussies don't contest FIM Europe Mickey Mousers.
  19. They're British. Aussies don't contest FIM Europe Mickey Mousers.
  20. Nice to see him ignoring the approaches of other clubs who think they can poach hot prospects, instead of seeking & developing a promising newcomer themselvesšŸ™‚
  21. An exciting rider. Good to see him back with the Bandits. P.S. Glad he won't be off to any NORA meetings next year. He'd never live it down (or understand).
  22. But don't forget the various Mickey mouse FIM U 21 and U 23 meetings to slot in at many weekends, look how many weekend meetings cairns Harrison and Rushen were required to do
