I'm not as 'up' on accounting theory as I used to be once, was thinking more of value riders on a club's books. E.g. if Emil planned to ride the UK in 2026 but if a club, wanted to 'buy' & retain him as a riding asset of their own, he was happy to leave and Ipswich were willing to sell (both unlikely), they might willing to pay, say, £35,000, not that clubs tend to that these days. So £35,000 would be wiped from Ipswich's riding asset value, though added to funds held, same if they sold others riders they 'owned', though this could be spent on replacements and improve the value of the club. I mean what does a speedway club 'own' these days: track equipment, track licence, goodwill ? But, I'm not as 'up' on accounting theory as I once used to be....

Well I have my doubts about most announced & presumed septets... but obviously no idea what Witches will do. Don't like this Lions team, can't see much average improvement in any rider... other than it's a weaker league improvement which all riders will get (and suffer from next winter with inflated averages).

Even I've done it -
Stinks of desperation . Opening a new track with no fanbase and slinging them into the top flight. Whoever is fronting this will lose a fortune.

What about Northampton?

Be interesting to see where it draws a regular decent home crowd from -

Can't help it, as it pops up on me Facebook feed, just like you popping up on most forum pages 🙃😆

In the garrity interview in the speedway star the other week

Where did this come from that Havvy and Sean Wilson is helping him?
-
No idea why Havvy would get involved but if Garrity rode at Poole it certainly would not help the crowd levels.
-
Could be worse it could be big boy, well it definitely isn’t me even though I am by far the best qualified for the job 🤣

If rumours are right it’s neither of you, but I’d best Pipe down !

No he doesn't but he is.

No. The value of riders as assets was effectively the loan fees they could generate. But for every pound of loan fees received lost by clubs with large asset bases a pound of loan fees paid will be saved by clubs with small asset bases. So while it will reduce the value of clubs with large asset bases there should be a compensating increase in the value of clubs with small asset bases.

Tidy side, would prefer Rew to musielek personally, also if Jenkins isn’t getting the 25% reduction for a second time I’d love to see young Mitch McDairmaid at no.6 very impressed with him when I saw him last season and would fit

Don’t even go there

He don’t need to support this thug

Well I wouldn’t of and I’m abit annoyed by the way it was arranged to keep me off doing it after I told him last week I would do this week, the whole thing was arranged by private message rather than the what’s app group that it always is, did Godfrey make it a condition of him coming on that me and crabby wouldn’t be on ? I expect we will find out what godfrey’s favourite colour is and that will announce lambert and garrity -
If it's the "Woffy" fence, you can keep it!

I was told that the same spec Polish air fence was around half the price of the 'Briggo' one. Some individuals, and those taking kickbacks continue to milk this sport dry...
