That Squad just shows the state British speedway is in. Outside of the top 2 we’ve got no form of Depth at all.
-
O was told by a Clerk of the Course that the PZM have come into line with the SCB on this for the 2026 season.
-
That is a red herring it is all to do with recovery time. If a mouthguard in rugger can can have an impact sensor in it why can we not have one in a helmet?

As has been said before, UK league speedway is not as easy as some think. -
I'd like to see Dan Thompson get a chance he did pretty well in the SoN2 last year and anything is better then watching Ellis fail for another year.
- Today

Here is a spade for him to get on with it. Gavan doing Gavan things, comes running to the Poole thread as soon as he thinks there is a dig to be had.
-
Charles Wright rides for Landshut, I expect he's been named in the squad just in case he is/was fit ahead of schedule as unlikely as that may be.

Maybe shows that the only GB team manager now is not up to speed what is happening in the north of the country 🤔
-
Been in it 🍺😀

One of Cooper's favourite tracks, finished 3rd in the U19 final beating a certain Mr cairns in the process, also done many more laps in the British youth championships. Something Poole fans know nothing about, as they don't put on youth meetings, just splash the cash to get the young ones to sign up 😲
-
He’s already done plenty of laps around Northside.
-
Oh good, no harm in getting some practice laps in for when the amazing Pirates visit!!
-
-
He won't lack confidence. Why would he when he was much more on the pace last night?! Looks good for someone thrown in at the deep end. Once he sharpens up his starts he'll be just fine in the Premiership.
-
I honestly don't see the point in naming a rider, CW who is out injured and says he won't be fit for a good while yet. Plus Adam Ellis, will he have recovered by may 1st ?

Lions vs Aces KO Cup 06/04/26 19:30

I was really comparing our speedway rules with Poland who don't seem to give a sh** really. To be honest if you watch the 6 nations with some of the slow motion shots 21 days is definitely the minimum. -
This could be a banana skin for team GB, some of the foreign riders will be used with tracks like Landshut, where some of the Brits may struggle, and our top 2 maybe too focused on the GP the next day

For lovers of drone coverage in speedway...
ElmParkRG2 replied to IainB's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
So. you say your drone was flying at about 20 feet above the ground and was hit by a motorbike spinning like a frisbee? Sorry claim denied! -
They didn't until Russia invaded....

YeOldPitGate replied to Aries's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Yep I was thinking the same given he's young and a decent rider he really should be a top ten man when you look at the UK league standard, with his eyes shut and averaging eight plus a meeting. -
What I was saying was that various teams couldn't use an assessed average rider until he had a proper average. That went from 2 pointers through to 8 pointers in the top league. I think it's good for young riders to get as much track time as possible so don't see the problem.

Don't know why Charles Wright has been picked when he told the crowd at Redcar on Friday that he will be on the sidelines for many weeks, slight possibility of summer before fit
