This stream auto-updates

  1. Past hour
  2. Congratulations Glasgow, I had to take my Monarchs hat off and applaud the balsy racing of the Tigers. Sometimes you just have to swallow your pride and acknowledge that the best team won. The partnership of Ben & Leon is genius. The new guy Nagel is a find in a million and coupled with Kyle last night was speedway at its best. It was a good job for us that Bomber and Freddy had bike issues 👏👏👏
  3. Seems a bit hasty, looking at the radar there's hardly enough rain incoming in the next few hours to dampen the ground.
  4. Re arranged Berwick V Workington 7pm Saturday 13th September.
  5. Very true, much easier when you’re racing against a team with a a few on tractors.
  6. Re arranged date Saturday 13th September 7pm Berwick V Workington.
  7. Joe Screen seems to be getting nostalgic these days so how about him?
  8. I make it 1.94 by my calculations or George Stancl could come in on @ 1.49 average.
  9. Yes I contacted LionsTV (infinity21) who confirmed I can buy the stream after the event - I will be doing so over the weekend.
  10. Just arrived in Wroclaw. Sat next to a guy on the plane who knows Dan really well and spannered for him and works on his engines. Had a good chat. Told him to tell Dan needs to be more ruthless. 😂
  11. I’m on the countryman’s side, zmarzlik is imo the greatest rider ever lived and I want to see him break the record for most ever world champion, I want to see janowski do well because it’s sad to see him not enjoying his racing at the moment and for my bank balance as I’ve had a little flutter on him, hope Brady takes it to last round to make it interesting but apart from Doyle not fused about Aussies, hope bewley does well too
  12. That’s primarily because the top league has a TV deal to stick to.
  13. You only have to look at the names that have been interested enough in Speedway to buy all the kit and kaboodle to ride at NDL/CL reserve level over the last 10 years but have subsequently quit due to lack of opportunity because clubs want ready made riders from abroad to see that the sport in this country could be sustainable if only the people running the sport would give home grown riders a decent chance. Even now were importing loads of young Aussies, who are really just here to concentrate on starting a career in Poland. To do away with anybody not committed to British Speedway is going to take a period of adjustment but look how quickly the CL has recovered since its drastic weakening a few seasons back, a lot of fans were up in arms when this happened but now it's probably one of the most competitive leagues in Europe.
  14. December 31st then. At least top league does which is why Sheffield are planning to race on Wednesday
  15. Today
  16. Will the crowd be on their countryman’s side tonight or clubman?
  17. Just the normal at Glasgow ATM,great racing.
  18. For a sport that is virtually unknown in this country that looks like a sensible level to run at with guys that are fully committed to riding in UK. Start from the bottom and build it up. Invest in marketing and presentation and watch the sport fly. Joe Bloggs on the street doesn't know Saifutdinov from Simon Lambert but will love Simon's commitment to his team. It's a team sport after all and needs sold on that. Back your team.
  19. At home you can do that in the easier fixtures
  20. The fact that the BSPL/SCB are using a registered charity in their petty battle with NORA tells you everything you need to know about the people involved at the top of our sport and they should be nowhere near any decision making. If I were involved in the SRBF I'd be issuing a statement demanding that point 3 be removed from the SCB statement. And would be distancing the charity from such a corrupt organisation as the SCB.

  22. They aren't against it, but it needs to be volunteers, and a team. It can't just be reliant on one or two people because then it falls apart if they aren't around. It does get talked about from time to time, but I don't think they are going to pay anyone to do it - and they do place a high value on feet through the doors. They want the stadium to look full and have a great atmosphere.
