  1. Past hour
  2. He would be the steal of the season if they can pull it off, if they could get Fred back over in place of Emil also I reckon crowds would hold pretty well.
  3. I don't think it's rocket science, it shouldn't be at least, get your meetings planned as far in advance as possible and have them when they're least likely to be rained off. If the reserved weeks aren't filled by cup meetings/rearranged cancellations then stick on a challenge meeting. Your riders should be available to race for you on your race night every week. As a fan I never had an issue with a rider missing for a national/international meeting. It wasn't ideal but it's when they're riding for another club somewhere that it really takes the biscuit.
  4. Let's hope they can get a deal done with Thorssell
  5. That's what I'd heard but couldn't believe it
  6. Not 100% sure on that think a lot will depend on can Chris Holder roll back the years he was a tremendous rider back in the day but I think two really bad smashes and what happened to Darcy understandably took the wind out of his sales mentally and physically.
  7. Head torches available at the pay booth 😃
  8. That could be a good team Throssell should be geting double figures every week whilst at reserve, Tobi if he can get his head straight should do a job and same with Tungate if he can be bothered could be a trump card the other four solid and reliable.
  9. Which in the grand scheme of things is ridiculous really, for a guy who still rode NDL/NDT an was offered two team spots at the start of the season and was going to sign for scunny mid season till he got injured. Robs ball his rules.
  10. Mid Feb, no concrete confirmation on how many clubs competing in the top tier and no idea (officially) who is behind the Ipswich take over. No signings either. Its mental . People wonder why the sport is not taken seriously. As I read elsewhere, this has been the worst close season I have ever known of. Absolute mess. The posts I have read on Scunny signing a team over the limit just about sums the state of the sport up.
  11. Today
  12. Press and Practice Wednesday 1st April
  13. Could it be that they are waiting to have the Northampton situation concluded before slotting in the final 2 If as some think the likes of Lawson Wright etc are embarked to be there they would be available if the new venture doesn't proceed
  14. Not only content but what a striking poster, would have made you take a second look.
  15. I haven't read it fully but I believe Wright said that without a Premiership berth if he didn't have a ride in Polish League with Landshut he'd have quit speedway because he couldn't make it pay.
  16. First is in the top 5 if you think about it. Unless you mean 2nd bottom
  17. League winning team that I reckon
  18. Good signing on a 5.25 imo, If Brennan is the No.1 then silverware is a very long stretch imo so the next best option is to build a Team to win at Home.
  19. Looking solid rather than strong, lacking an out and out number 1 at the moment but if they could squeeze Max James in at reserve with Mitchell my calculator leaves a Crang sized hole. That would generate a team that should win at home but has potential to go missing away.
  20. Out of the 4 Confirmed 1-7's, I think Sheffield win the League at a canter tbh. I also think Leicester are being overlooked, Douglas and Thompson get better year on year, Morris is on a false GSA due to the white powder imo and Masters has been a No.1 in a much stronger PREM so I don't see a reason as to why he cant get back to those levels tbh.
  21. You might want to revise that, because Scotty is in the team...
  22. I don't think that's an issue - why rebel against not being paid by scoring less and thereby earning less when you do get paid. The fact he was riding at No.1 in 2024 and is now down to 5.89 suggests a rider on the downward to me rather then plenty in the tank. What he does have in his favour is that he's not a gating dullard.
  23. What I would say if defense of Tungate is that he was a No.1 in 2024 and his 5.89 holds significant value in a weakend League. Was he being paid by Oxford hence the problmes in 2025?
