  1. Past hour
  2. Anybody read today's Sun full page article on there about Harry Redknap and his love of speedway and that he's joined management team of speedway futures Ltd.
  3. What ? Doyle had a fall ? Not like him to be on his arse on the track. The klinssman of speedway
  4. Bad night…He scored 7+1 and that score included a fall while leading in one heat and then passing Masters in another. Definitely not backing off like Kurtz. Swindon were already in the playoffs, so he could have backed off with an important meeting coming up for him, but no, he just rode like he always did no conspiracy theories here, just facts.
  5. Today
  6. Are you saying Kurtz is a gater ….. if he fancies it yes but at Ipswich he was letting a one legged tortoise out gate him
  7. Note for anyone travelling to worky in the next few weeks. The A66 at Ramsey bro, the main junction in worky is closed for the next 3 weekends, diversion route signed but allow extra time
  8. Nonsenses this is 3 world class riders your talking about, not 1 and 2 juniors. Emil should be doing so much better on his home track, no excuses for any of them.
  9. Always good to see what a secondary bookie thinks !! Bet 365 have all riders quoted on their less, exact and more market. These are the points figures for exact 20 heats only Zmarzlik 11 Kurtz 11 MJJ 10 Bewley 9 Doyle 9 Lindgren 9 Lebedevs 8 J Holder 8 Michelsen 7 Fricke 7 Lambert 7 Thomsen 7 Kubera 5 Vaculik 5 Kvech 4 Huckenbeck 3
  10. There is a glimmer of light at the end of the dark winter tunnel that speedway faces of that I’m now convinced
  11. I was given an Aces scarf as part of my season ticket package the other season. Very nice it was too. I agree with you that other clubs should follow suit.
  12. He only scored 7 in a league meeting for Swindon before the GP round at Teterow in 2017, when double figure scores were the norm that season. Like Brady, it was just a bad night and there is no need for bogus conspiracy theories to be made up in either of these instances.
  13. The Directors of Speedway Futures Ltd are Neil Clayton (whose background seems to be mainly as an Insurance Broker), Rob Godfrey, Chris Louis and Rob Painter. Registered address is ACU house, Rugby!!!

  15. Brady isn’t great at Ipswich but the timing of the meeting has made some see a lack of effort on his part when this wasn’t the case, it was just Brady at Ipswich. What was the reason for his low scores there earlier in the season? Last year Brady’s most important world championship meeting was the GP challenge, in some ways more important than today’s meeting as the long term financial benefits of being part of the GP circus are huge for a rider and it was something he had missed out on time and time again. The day before he won the challenge he rode unbeaten for The Aces as our captain leading us to another league title. Rather than make up a conspiracy that isn’t there maybe focus your attention on why three of the most spectacular riders in world speedway were unable to strut their stuff in one of the most high profile meetings of the domestic season.
  16. But as you know, he wouldn’t have. Always gives 100%, considering the amount of injuries he’s had, never afraid to get stuck in, and a real pleasure to watch.
  17. Who knows what is happening with the leagues next season, so could be next season
  18. Tuesday’s 2nd leg line-ups Wroclaw v Torun ( 49-40) Wroclaw 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 Torun 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
  19. Have they? They take British riders away from league fixtures on a regular basis to go and finish well down the finishing order on the continent and have only staged 2 Test Matches (both at Glasgow) in the last 5 years. They've failed to get any kind of exposure since twice winning the SoN and the only chance the fans get to hear of what's going on is by following them on social media that seems more interested in pushing the wares of their sponsors and running some kind of lottery. Yes, they're doing a better job of running the GB Speedway Team than their predecessors but you have to ask to what end?
  20. If you keep an eye on the FIM speedway instagram page this morning they might stream some races on there. Edit just seen some action on their facebook page.
  21. If you told me we’d win by 14 before the meeting I would’ve bit your hand off, but feel we let them off the hook last night at that should’ve really won by more. Heat 12 should’ve been pulled back as Klindt jumped it how he missed that god knows. Conceding two 5-1s to Hodder at home is really poor, no offence to him but shouldn’t be happening, could potentially cost us in the 2nd leg. 14 points to take to Ashfield not entirely convinced we will hold on to that but we will give it a good go that’s for sure.
  22. I fear 1973 all over again Morris & Co will make it gate - go and we know what that means ! Hope BZ wins the final by half wheel having passed everyone else !
