  1. Past hour
  2. From the middle order! He was woeful a few weeks ago against Glasgow i think wasnt it?
  3. I'm ok thanks, Maybe you shouldn't be on a public forum if you can't accept reading constructive feedback on topics that differ from your views.
  4. "Speedway - out of the top drawer". 🤣
  5. That refers to the end of the season only. I think it should be in the order after Wroclaw round 5 where Woryna was ahead of Madsen so should be after this round tie i feel.
  6. Cause he’d bang in 12/13 points a meeting at Berwick last season.
  7. Too much clay at Foxhall also. Again, stocks. The racing suffers as a result unfortunately. Because of the Stocks there’s also very little banking either. Louis was going to try and rectify that by lowering the inside to give it a banking ā€œeffectā€, but the cost proved prohibitive when they realised all the drains would need digging up. Maybe it’s something that Coleman can now look in to.
  8. "He's taken them apart, quite magnificent"
  9. Rzeszów v Rybnik: https://vksport.vkvideo.ru/video-53550004_456242745
  10. Belle Vue banging the drum at the local Gorton carnival again.
  11. Granted hence why I said most successful british rider, Crump, Pederson, T Rick, Hans Nielson all a cut above Woffy.
  12. Never a great fan, but I was always impressed by his ability (in GPs, against the very best) to pick a line coming out of bend 2 and weave his way past his opponents on the back straight (like Lambert last night)
  13. Another Dave Lanning classic while commentating on Michael Lee... "he looks like a flying paper clip" šŸ˜‚ ... and the 1985 Bradford World Final... "here comes Gundersen", today's screamers should take note that sometimes less is more šŸ‘
  14. Doesn't matter now but... Musielak had one bad ride but he also didn't lose the H2H battle on the night against Kurtz or Harris. 1-1 with Kurtz and 2-1 up on Harris, Rider of the Night and statistically our best Rider all season both Home and Away who let's not forget beat both Kurtz and Harris in Heat 11 when Belle Vue played a tactical sub against Tobi and Edwards. Everything statistically pointed towards Tobi being the best bet to pick one of them off in Heat 15.
  15. Today
  16. 100%... Even more so when you consider Ipswich have won just one top tier title in almost thirty years... Several of their fans on here have often made, almost smug, comments on how poor the crowd levels at other tracks are, and boasted that Ipswich have consistently had good crowds, regardless of success or not, all down to their loyal fanbase.. That one title seems to have increased expectations far in excess of their traditional position in the sport, which, has been one of doing "OK" most seasons, with some "yo-yo ing" between the top two tiers as and when the team struggled or the crowds dropped... Given the cards dealt to Coleman I would suggest it worth putting some perspective to this season, and just be glad "someone" decided to buy the place, as it didn't look like too many were coming forwards to do so.. I hope his endeavors to more Speedway forward reach fruition, as that will also positively impact the Witches, and their fanbase continues to support him in his plans for the club...
  17. Meeting won and lost at Number 1. Thompson over Kemp. Tried to be positive when the Comets signed Kemp, but in reality it's probably one of the biggest downgrades I've seen at Workington. Struggle to see how he was consistent enough to average 8 last season. Should of just brought Antti Vuolas back, who would of gave 110% effort
  18. Will always be a controversial guy but can't fault his three world titles. I remember watching him get a maximum at Newport for Rye in his debut season and you just knew he was going to be good, he stagnated for a year or so at Wolves and looked a million miles away from being a world champion but fair play to him. He has the same amount of titles as Crump and Pedersen. Would you rate him as highly as them? Not for me. But for people to compare the likes of Andy Smith and Gary Havelock to him is a joke and shows how thick the poster must be.
  19. Point a) They have KO Cup & BSN fixtures to fit in as well - so 8 League + 2 BSN (poss more) + 1 (poss more) KO Cup = at least 11 + poss extra BSN/KO Cup. point b) Scrap the BSN Series - 16 should be fairly straight forward (even with all the Friday tracks).
  20. Probably but I'm hearing that's the route they have been talking about in recent promoters talks , maybe they have finally listened šŸ˜„
  21. Is this a copy and paste post from the last ten years???
  22. Wasn't Smith a Coventry rider when he won his three titles at Brandon? Collins and Morton were before my time. Havelock was good in 92, but as you say benefited from a wet track, Jonsson messing up his first ride, Ermolenko losing his head because of the delay and conditions, and Nielsen being injured and subsequently not getting to Wroclaw. Havelock deserved the title, but was also in the right place at the right time. Loram was probably the same. He was excellent in 99 and 2000, but helped by Rickardsson having two poor refereeing decisions go against him and Hamill being inconsistent. Loram and Havelock were both riders who were never likely to scale that peak again. Screen I would say was as talented as Tai and on his day was brilliant to watch, but was always handicapped by his poor gating and never got over the leg break he had in 2001. Tatum was a top rider, but tended to jump out of the way when someone showed him their back wheel. Also amuses me when he insists riders should just get on with it in wet conditions, when he was the first one putting his gear back in the van if he didn't fancy it.
  23. I would hazard a guess that were the pairs or the riders championship to be held at BV, the crowd would be even lower than what they get for a league match. Plus, Sheffield is the home of the second tier riders championship IMO. Its good that they are bringing the events back though. The old riders championship at Sheffield used to be a fantastic day out as were the fours at Peterborough and the pairs at Workington.
  24. Something has to be done at the promoters meeting over winter about all the gaps between meetings, at ALL tracks, we can see now fans are not happy, and now for Poole looks like several meetings in a few days, at the height of summer when cash maybe needed for family days out somewhere. IMO the fixtures should be like football, 1 home 1 away then you would have 2/3 meetings every month at home
  25. With it being nothing more than a glorified friendly R/R for Kyle should have been the choice. Kemp in all likelihood meant we lost but in the grand scheme of thing’s it is all a bit irrelevant. Knocking them out the playoffs again if we both get there would be nice.
