Did see on Socials - Polish journalists mentioning that British Speedway is in talks with PZM and is looking to implement a U21 rule in the reserve spots. One spot for British rider and the other for an international rider - with the hope that Polish juniors get signed or Polish Teams junior riders - could be a costly means of getting junior riders with transport and logistics.

Can’t see why people don’t see Doyle staying at Belle Vue and Witches going in for Bewley. Ties to Wrocław and obviously Coleman said we may interchange/share the riders. Bewley said he likes Foxhall and the fans and I believe he is the type of character that the Foxhall faithful would love to have. Bewley, Łaguta Tobi as the front three big hitters.

Holder has to be the first choice for a wildcard as we was right up there till his injury. 2nd choice is between Bewley and Lindgren, who would also both probably be in the top 7 without injuries, but surely one of them has to go to whoever finishes 8th ? With 4 riders separated by 1 point chasing 3 places, it would be very harsh to not give another shot to the one that misses out. So which way do you go ? The 41 year old with a fantastic record but never been Champion and unlikely to be now, or the 27 year old potential future champion who would probably have been in the title fight this year ?

Well that didn't go according to plan, for either team I guess loosing a 12 point lead ain't great, being 6 points down isn't either. Poole's mechanicals didn't help the cause, in a perfect world they wouldn't happen I guess. Jordy Loftus did help much either, I was expecting a couple points. A 6 point deficit isn't the end of the world, sure Redcar do have some good riders but it will come down to who steps up tomorrow.

Great comeback from Pirates. Would have taken a 12 point defeat at the halfway stage but the boys showed pure grit to claw it back nd it would have been closer had Lawson chain not sent fireworks into the night sky in heat 15. Should make an exciting meeting tomorrow night. Pirates slight favourites.

Having a 12 point lead at one stage and needing to maintain that or build up even more. They have now gaffed it and it’s Pooles now for the taking

Allen blocks Scott, costing him second. Edwards gets in Wright’s way, delaying him having any impact on the Pirates in heat 13 and in heat 14, Lambert failing miserably to pass Newman who was essentially standing still, having already gone from second and on a 5-1 to last in his previous heat. Self-harming from Redcar here.

Redcar deservedly in front by a margin. Pirates outgated all night. Weak guest at reserve and Newman not on the pace here. Redcar are fighting to keep their cup and are doing a great job of it.
