  1. Past hour
  2. Viv muddle came over with Tate last year. He has been getting at least a few pointers from Darcy Ward this year. Does he qualify for a visa? Could he be the comets next up and coming Aussie?
  3. Hasn't stopped Berwick! So things must be pretty much agreed. Probably Prem holding everything up as usual 😉
  4. I've heard Mr.Bain's has planned to tackle team building completely different. If the rumours are true, he plans to get a lot of new additions
  5. Vey well said! Bravo ! What LagutaRacingFan shows is lacking knowledge of the European history.
  6. Yh I hear what you are saying but the problem last year was that we didn’t know if the premiership was running at all with the problems at Ipswich or Sheffield. The question this year is a different one, how many teams are running in each league so there’s no reason the existing teams can’t start building teams to the already agreed points limit with the AGM to follow later to ratify the league line ups and rules for the season?
  7. Because Lambert is British and both Laguta and Sayfutdinov are Russians. That's why.
  8. If they already have 19k, it would only take 500 fans donating £50-55 each (once, not every moth) the fence would be paid for.
  9. Five signings before the first page of the forum had finished, has to be a record?
  10. If it is to be 6 teams again they better make sure teams are of equal stature and any team can win. Make every match a must win
  11. But to sign up riders rules/ points limit have to be in place and signed off at the AGM. So if you wait too long riders are unsure where they may ride, so will sign deals in Sweden / Denmark and leave the UK in the lurch, just like last year with Doyle and others.
  12. Today
  13. I’m not sure why people are so impatient? The league starts next April so does it really matter if the AGM is in November, December, January, February? If the wait means the return/reopening of a couple of tracks and a television deal then it’s worth the wait? If that also allows Plymouth some more time to get their air fence fund complete so they can run then that’s another good thing. Surely we all want as many tracks as possible running next season?
  14. So... looking at riders from 2026, Tate is moving on, Drew has signed for Berwick... Max's Facebook page indicates he fell out of love with the sport towards the end of the year... Rumours have suggested Batch might be 'south bound'... Feels like 2027 will be a year of new riders unless the likes of Hooky and Vuolas are considered... Time will tell...
  15. Wasn’t Fricke only let go because his average was so high it didn’t leave much room for the others and would have left them too top heavy…his average is now way lower than it was a year ago so it would be far easier to fit him back in next season
  16. If he does end up there, I'd deffo take Jonatan Grahn at Northside. He's scored 58 points + 8 bp, in just 6 meetings here
  17. If Victor is coming back then that's fine with a 2 point reserve. If not then Joe Thompson with a 2 point reserve would be great as he looked ok for Plymouth at Shielfield. Other option would be Jack Smith ( if fit) along with a new 5 point rider like the Dane PK recommended who was at Shielfield one night. Jack scored a good few points at home this year which helped keep the unbeaten record, maybe more than a new 2 point rider would. Jack and a new 2 pointer would probably score about the same number of points away from home i.e. not a lot. Think these combinations fit with a 40 point limit but no doubt some maths specialist will say I'm wrong.
  18. And some rumours saying Rob is going to open his wallet and he could be off to Scunthorpe.
  19. Could it maybe the other way around ? Just Jen’s comment that announcement they will be making in a few weeks was good for the club and British Speedway
  20. Silly season in full swing. If he’s wanting to learn different tracks etc I wouldn’t be surprised to see him at Edinburgh.
  21. Fricke back to Leicester because Lambert will be a Star?
  22. I do hope so but not hopeful at this point. All I'm told is maybe 2028 to get the sport back. We've moved on with our business plan to bring speedway back at a lower level and then build. I do hope your connections are good but just cant see it unfortunately
  23. Aww boo hoo. Rusty Harrison. What goes around comes around. PS Still not guaranteed that he's off to Glasgow. They've allegedly signed Flint, Harris, Rowe, Dan Thompson, Luke Harrison and Zischke so they must be running 2 teams at Ashfield this year!
