  1. Past hour
  2. Bowes lifted slightly going into bend 1 before losing his line and drifting towards the fence on turn 2. In real time it looked like Pijper stuffed him in the fence but the replay shows that wasn't the case. Pijper took a wide line out of turn 2 but Bowes had already drifted wider of his own accord due to lifting.
  3. Will Cairns was fantastic tonight, shame about the engine, I suppose that scuppered any chance he had of doing a fully deserved heat 15.
  4. ..as opposed to the usual Ipswich suspect talking his usual b0!!○<ks.
  5. Bowes was so upset, in tears in the pits especially after being blocked against the pit fence by Pijper in his 2nd ride and then engine troubles in his last. Good to see him putting g some extra laps in after the meeting. Incidentally Klindt clocked the fastest time of the season so far. All times were fast compared to previous weeks. Also well worthy of a mention and Sponsors Rider of the Night, Will Cairns - 11 points as well as a heat 14 blown engine on his lap of honour .
  6. He was taken out by someone else. hardly his fault.
  7. I don’t consider myself a full time supporter because I have family and work and live over an hour from Foxhall so I pick and choose my meetings …. We have rode at home 3 times … I went to the first meeting of the season simply because it’s the first meeting and we all miss our speedway …. The track was shocking .. we don’t have the best track but it’s been better last couple of seasons …. I gave the second match a miss as it was Northampton and the third match I didn’t go to as it was King’s Lynn again …. However the people I sit with moaned the track was awful both times…..I will go to Belle Vue at home next week to see Bewley and Kurtz Would just be nice if for once the usual Poole suspects actually spoke the truth
  8. Yes I agree I think he will improve, he lacks confidence at the moment but I am sure he will get better.
  9. By the end of the season Bowes will be up to speed and barring injuries Poole will be there at the sharp end of the play offs … whatever shape they are I cannot remember .
  10. He did ok, a little improvement, riding at 2 suited him, still looks uneasy and lacking confidence on the bike but Redcar were so poor it maybe made him look better.
  11. Well yes, Klint scoring half Redcars points tells you everything about how the rest of the Bears performed. Bowes should be given more credit, he is putting the effort in, but he's moves aren't coming off. I've seen him try a wide line around 1-2 a few times, but it ends up with the bike in knots. I think he needs help with the bike set up and or ridding style.
  12. On the face of it looks like Poole had prepped the track to be gate and go and it worked because apart from NK the Bears struggled to come out of turn 2 in front, it was all over after that. I know it has been discussed many times on here but Poole don't have to cover their paying customers in dust and prep a track that provides very little in the way of entertainment when they build such strong teams.
  13. Ah yes the regional draw that wasn't regional.🤣
  14. If toft went who would or could replace him ?
  15. Did same thing last year, but that rider now can't score many points now 🤣🤣
  16. Today
  17. Ford last seen chasing klindt to van with pen and paper and big brown paper bag
  18. Well a good job Mr klindt turned up for Redcar otherwise it would've been a cricket score, Poole reserves done what Redcar reserves did at worky last week, looks like Matt ford will be buying some more polish for the trophies unfortunately 😜. How many did Mr Bowes score 🤔😃
  19. Good news for Oxford. Hopefully Erik has some more answers now with his illness so he can prevent it from coming back. 🤞
  20. Never have been and never will be Lambert's biggest fan but I don't see how this strengthen's Scunthorpe with Gilkes injury record. How does Palm Toft keep his job never mind get given chance after chance does he have something on Godfrey?
  21. Ok fair enough. It was very dry tonight, not sure why they couldn't have prepped it like last week. With regards to Ipswich, didn't really mean about the track as last meeting i would have seen there was prob covered by sky sports! So have no idea how good/bad it is. One thing that doesn't change though is Ace's attitude. I won't say too much because he is still a teenager. But feel like it is holding him back a bit. All this revenge talk because he doesn't like being passed is a bit ott.
  22. Poole mastered the gate ,had their bikes set up to launch out of gate, what a track, will redcar turn it around Friday, time will tell
  23. You are joking I wouldn’t pay a £1 to watch a meeting at Poole … friends of mine are ex Arena fans who when it closed started following Poole mainly online as it was far to travel … they watched it tonight and have now decided to stop paying out … still Poole fans though I will never say they are true fans as they never went but they have had enough of watching garbage And don’t think for one minute I like the Ipswich track…. It was ok going to meetings with Doyle and Emil but I’ve only been to the opening meeting and the track at Ipswich is worse than ever
