  3. British Speedway have posted the fight on their Twitter/X feed... so the riders should be getting appearance fees and advertising royalties!

  6. The Plymouth Gladiators will be boosted by the return of Danish star Nicolai Klindt for their final home fixture of the season this Saturday against the Berwick Bandits. Klindt has been watching closely from the sidelines in recent weeks and admits it has been tough not being involved: “I’ve been following the boys closely over the last couple of meetings where I unfortunately haven’t been available. Our last home meeting ended in a very narrow loss, with Lasse, Joe and Ben all being out due to injury, it would have been a different story if they’d been there. I’m really excited about finally being back at the Coliseum and I aim to bring my away form into Saturday and finish our season off with a win. Mark, Gary and everyone at the club deserves so much more than this season has ended up with due to injuries and misfortune, so to finish off with a big win against Berwick would be a great way to finish off this season at home!” With his determination clear, Klindt will be looking to lead from the front and give Gladiators fans the result they deserve on what promises to be an emotional night at the Coliseum. The curtain comes down on an action-packed speedway season this Saturday 23rd August at the Plymouth Coliseum, as the Plymouth Gladiators take on the Berwick Bandits in their final home race meeting of 2025. That's quite the read!
  7. Don’t be daft. Completely accidental from Wright. Just one of those things that happens from time to time.
  8. This Glasgow side with Nagels will walk the league. Shame he misses so many meetings , but thats par for the course these days with riders. Riders just ride here there and everywhere when it suits them. After spending some time in the doldrums after the 2011 league title win, its great to see Glasgow back up near the top the last few years though. Scotlands finest.
  9. Speedway all over social media this morning, but not for the racing 😁
  10. He is, it's rider replacement for Lasse Fredriksen
  11. Are you sure you've not missed a G after klindts name. ??
  12. Should be a close meeting Berwick need a win for any slim chance of making playoffs, but Plymouth are good at home. Senior moment thought it was r/r for Klindt just noticed the comma 😁😁
  13. If he was so altruistic he could've at least given Bartosz his £7.5k a meeting instead of wasting money on Zagar and Rew 😝
  14. Gladiators; Nicolai Klindt, R/R, Simon Lambert (G), Joe Thompson, Scott Nicholls, Alfie Bowtell, Tom Spencer Bandits; Nick Morris, Sam Hagon, Jonas Jeppesen, Drew Kemp, Peter Kildemand, Dayle Wood, Jack Smith Under 16's go free. Fireworks after racing. Real fun, family night ahead at the Coliseum
  15. They’ve been experimenting with different track conditions the last month or so, trying to find a track that suits everyone. Thursday was far too slick to be honest and there wasn’t a lot of grip out there. Heat 15 a perfect example. Brennan was clearly quicker than Lawson out front and was throwing everything he could at him, going inside and out but just couldn’t find enough to get past. Brennan is riding himself in to good form at just the right time. Looked quick Thursday.
  16. And nothing says more Mickey Mouse than a policy that allows teams to plan in meetings knowing riders will be missing and replace them from other teams, rather than running the meetings when the actual team can be there.. The guest system isnt a "necessary evil", as some term it, it is now a fundamental key part of the operating model.... A chance for some riders to earn more money, and a catch all safety net to complete the season, driven by the signing of riders who, knowingly, won't be available to represent the team..
  17. Today
  18. Don’t know about that, but transponders are used in most bike sports without any problems.
  19. Good to see Allen giving it to Wright. Wright gives it out but cannot take it back. Well done Jake.
  20. Hope he in a better state than he was last time he was here lol
  21. Update on Przyjemski. He suffered an ankle fracture and a small back fracture.
