  2. Riders who are doubling up will have to now choose what they prefer and champ will have to pay more to entice them! Thompson is riding overseas next year so the Ipswich current team only have king and Edwards who it would effect?
  3. The rolling stats don't include fixtures after the end of April. Official team building stats should include them.
  4. Yes I'd rather watch Kurtz at Belle Vue, less said about his away 'efforts' the better.
  5. You'd rather watch Kurtz ride the NSS than Bewley... go see a shrink! No finer sight in the sport than Bewley throttle jockeying the NSS... (Sorry Ipswich fans). Plus he's more likely to miss the gate than Kurtz.
  6. @lewy worky is a long way from airports, but within 2 and a half hours most northern airports can be reached, but whether they fly to the right airports in Poland at the right time, that's another thing, Bowes missed several meetings to be in Poland . But if certain riders have not been paid in Poland they are maybe thinking twice about going back
  7. Not quite. Top league will still have fixed race nights of Mon & Thur leaving days free for riders to race in Scandinavia & Poland. Biggest positive for UK speedway by reducing doubling up is to give credibility to the sport. That said I’m not convinced promoters will actually see it through.
  8. Thought Scott was seeing out his career at Oxford assuming 2026 will be his final season as a rider
  9. A sensible development if so. Hopefully the average conversion rate between the top two divisions will be less lenient too. How would it help? As I understand it the fixed race night is so that riders can ride in multiple leagues internationally. Denmark would still have priority on a Wednesday so any riders who have a team spot there wouldn't be able to race for their British clubs on a Wednesday regardless of the division.
  10. What I think the Scorpions 2026 Septet will look like. 1. D. King 8.59 2. L. Harrison 4.97 3. C. Mountain 5.96 4. Z. Kennedy 5.24 5. M. Palm Toft 6.10 6. D. Kennedy 4.63 7. S. Lambert 4.48 = 39.97
  11. 1. N. Klindt 8.36 2. J. Etheridge 5.45 3. T. Zischke 5.76 4. J. Hook 5.57 5. A. Vuolas 6.87 6. J. Grahn 5.30 7. 2.69
  12. The biggest positive of getting rid of the doubling up / limiting it would be to allow clubs to ride any night of the week. For example Poole would be more likely to step up if they could race Prem on a Wednesday. I don't see a big advantage of trying to limit double uppers if the Prem & Champ race on separate nights.
  13. Pleased for Redcar as they have worked so hard over the past few years to get where they are now, In contention to win trophy’s and they did that on all 3 fronts. With Riss and Jody in the KO and league things could have been different. Personally happy to lose a trophy to Redcar, but it’s only borrowed 😜they deserve this one. Man it hurts to lose but 5 out of 6 trophy’s isn’t bad in 2 years! A lot of clubs would take that in a heartbeat.
  14. If there's going to be a lack of meetings in the Prem next season, could this competition make a comeback? Even as a one-off?
  15. He will get signed up few weeks into the season which he did last year. Hopefully he can get flights to Poland easier from Workington than he could from Plymouth plus I believe the team he was with last year insisted he had to be at the track a certain amount of hours before the start, that said I believe he could easily be one of the best riders in the championship very quick when in front nobody catches and passes him very often.
  16. May turn up only to get up on stage fall over then says I've had enough bye bye
  17. Seen a bit from Poland that klindt is among many who has not agreed a deal to go back to Poland
  18. Looks like it , as Dan T wanted to come back to Glasgow but didn't fit as his average is 8.75, looks like bomber is staying.Fans would have loved both back
  19. Redcar have been great all season really, if they had had a fully fit Riss they may have had a good chance of all the trophies. Jody Scott had a great night, he was superb. Gavin Parr seems a really nice guy and Redcar fully deserved it
  20. Yeah, just the roling averages from the Stats section https://britishspeedway.co.uk/2025-rider-statistics/ Klindt would be 8.36
  21. A few Poole regulars appear to have gone into hiding on the BSF. Hope they are OK!
