We have started this page to support Scunthorpe Scorpion Jake Allen, who during one of his last league fixtures of the season, experienced a series of unfortunate events leaving him with only one salvageable bike going into his remaining fixtures. During his first ride an engine was blown therefore leading him to race on his second bike. In his second a crash caused him to lose the vast majority of his second bike including front wheel, diamond, handle bar and both guards. There was also damage to his forks and helmet. The costs are yet to be determined but are estimated to be £1,500. Jake wanted to publicly thank those who approached him Friday to offer their support, have sent messages since and Colin Poole for his support in piecing together his bent and broken frames since Friday’s fixture. They have their moments,not helped by that dickhead fan power,Nora no longer do bike scrutineering because of an incident where someone tried to sue them, up till now HSE seem to understand motorsport is dangerous and everyone does it of their own free will so don’t really get involved too much

Anders Thomsen engine has been found to be WITHIN regulations and the final score will remain.

Yep pain for them when they racing the late meeting in Poland and have to be at Belle Vue early, won't be getting much sleep.

Delivering newspapers as a kid a sliding round pavement corners whilst braking and singing there was only one michael lee. My dad wasn't best pleased when I wore my tyre out! And those bank holidays double headers, 11am at Saddlebow Road then all pile down to foxhall for the return in the afternoon. Happy days...

Scott Smith did it at Newport as well, hit the back of the tractor raking the surface, came off and the bike continued it's ride around the track fully upright on the back of the rake !

There'sots of NL/NT fixtures still to be announced. Clubs often leave them till the end of the season. As Sheffield are in the play-offs & Scunthorpe aren't, if agree with eric I, race it at Scunthorpe.

My prediction is that Lejonen will win easily at home and will finish first in the QF table. The most interesting part is whether Smederna or Västervik will win with the most point to finish second. Personally I think Västervik will finish 2nd with Smederna 3rd and Indianerna fourth. Lejonen will then choose Indianerna which leaves Västervik vs Smederna.

Due to a crash in Poland Dimitri Bergé is not fit to ride which is why Kowalski is in the lineup for Indianerna.

Now I bet łaguta said he will send it as he didn’t want to upset him, and łaguta was mentioned on polish sportowefakty about how he didn’t give him money, he added łaguta kubera and Dudek to the list now I’ve just checked, still no Bewley.

Wroclaw need to win these last 2 races to have any chance at home.

got his 1st rides over here at belle vue, late 70s, he was a very good rider, helped me out with 2nd hand tyres. 😁
