I think that had become inevitable with all the other team announcements. In my view, he was the stand out rider for Scunthorpe in 2025 and I thought, although he should be the first pick for 2026, there was a risk he’d decide it was time to continue his development elsewhere. Not winning away - although the Scorpions did manage it once in the league - is not unusual for a team designed to win at home, but to only win 3 out of 8 home meetings was a shocker. Having Pickering at the top and Harrison in the engine room should return Scunthorpe to being strong at home.

Think drug and alcohol offences are different to beating up pensioners when burglarying their home 🤔🤡

The old saying "If you can't do the time don't do the crime" will ring loud However he has & he did & he's far from the first to serve time in one of their Majesty long stay hotels. His offence was nothing to do with his past speedway life & should not cause issue with his future within speedway. Other riders have commited drug or alcohol offences whilst racing & have returned to the sport with little fuss. They were given their second chance so why not Jason Garrity

Vaclav Milik on 4.11? Former Lynn rider!

Harrison is back at Scunny

Practice and amateur meet off this weekend.

No, would be 0.03 over the limit I believe. Cook, Luke Harrison and Max Perry would have come to exactly 40.00 if that was the combo Harrison signed for Scunthorpe though, so can't see how Max Perry will start the season anywhere now
-
Whoever signs him will get a real racer but is that enough for some to overcome his crimes ???
-
Palovaara will prove quite a few people wrong..he was riding unfit for a lot of the second half of last season and will be a good signing on that average
-
Dont think it will make the playoffs... imo
-
I think PK could be captain in 26 and that could be what swayed the decision. I expect him to end up at no5 which if Morris is performing to his potential is a very strong pointy end. Hopefully Palovaara can maintain his average and the last singing will be someone who will improve.

Ah well thats great. But they are not of equal scoring ability?
- Today
-
If the two riders are of equal scoring ability, their cost to the club about the same -- and the rules insist only one can be retained, PK is a greater pits influence, and works very well with fans, etc, off-track. This is not to denigrate JJ in any way, but if given the forced choice, l believe PK is the right choice
-
Maybe there's a place for him at Speedway Futures Ltd... with the rest of the wrong'uns 🤷♂️
-
Good interview to be fair keeping the fans updated. Cant say i share Stewart Dickson's optimism though. Did Berwick choose PK over JJ?
-
Fricke, Holder, Bewley, Kurtz, and a G.P. rider at Ipswich too?
-
Delighted to have Luke Harrison back!
-
-
Kurtz has to ride here so you can count him in and he's even gone public in the Speedway Star stating that he wants to be back at Belle Vue. Holder unless leaving the country also has to ride here, His words on Polish TV last year (We hear the same rumour every year) I'm certain Bewley will be here.
-
Exactly, so if you don't know then either find out or don't post 👍 Merry Christmas 🎅🌲⛄
-
I've heard that Ipswich will have a GP Rider @ No.1. But as with everything, Things can change because every day is different.
-
I find it hard to believe there’s no place for Perry in the championship. If he doesn’t get a place there must be more to it than his performance. He is a kid with potential who I’d hoped to see at Berwick. Maybe he is asking for whatever Glasgow gave him.
