Will Cairns replaces the injured Lewi Kerr. -
Should get a 28 day ban for next season though if a British club is naive enough to sign a rider who thinks it is okay to treat the club who quite frankly have pandered after him all season with no reciprocal loyalty with such disdain.

What will 2026 UK speedway bring?
ShanoXtra replied to Lionsman66's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
For anyone wanting to know how Polish media see’s our league 😂 from Thursdays media report in Poland… TRANSLATION: Such things only happen in England. Sheffield Tigers and Ipswich Witches have already played their semi-final matches, but on Thursday they faced off again in the... regular season. That's how you make up ground in the Premiership. This meant that Sheffield Tigers, who were eliminated in the semi-finals by Leicester Lions, had a literally meaningless match to say goodbye to their home fans. Meanwhile, Ipswich Witches, who still have the final to play, treated the match more like a friendly against a demanding opponent. -

Marek has seen a few riders in the last 50 years ,he is just giving an honest opinion.

The whole situation stinks, I liked Fraser, I thought he was one of the most improved riders over the course of the season but this has left a sour taste in the mouth. He’s a young lad who’s finding his way in Europe and I get his Facebook post, but to spit the dummy out over a “lift” that then leads to essentially withholding his services, is just out of order. His behaviour is that of a petulant child throwing his toys out of the pram, just adds fuel to the rumours he’s signed for Poole. Good riddance.

Marek Cieslak, used to be the Poland “coach” he’s working on CanalSports coverage of meetings in Poland now. Found this from an article on the polish site. “I'd like to know who recommended this rider to them. I see he's a guy who can't really ride speedway. But what can you do, but that's exactly what Unia's squad looks like – full of holes," said Marek Cieślak on Canal+ Sport. The Australian left the Jaskółki team without scoring a single point. In Łódź, he had only zeros against his name in four starts. "I don't know why he got the first number. Maybe Stasiu (Burza - editor's note) was hoping for some kind of awakening," added the experienced coach.”

On what I’ve seen of him he’s going nowhere in Poland. Will struggle when U24 finishes for him. There’s a dozen young Poles in front of him.Social Media training needed. -
I really don't get all the negativity (bullrubbish) about the playoffs. pretty much very other sport that operates a league structure includes play-offs of one sort or another. Clubs love 'em because they are still money-spinners compared to standard fixtures (not least because clubs can raise the admission prices) and they can sometimes be the difference between a club losing money or breaking even over the season! They still attract larger crowds and often greater local/regional media coverage..

Great meeting, great racing, with Nagel scoring zero Edinburgh should be in the final. I am sure most Glasgow fans will want Poole in the final, two reasons, One for revenge and two because probably Redcar will be harder to beat. Obviously I hope Poole make it and I dont care how much flack and abuse we receive about our track.

What happened? On that note, shout out to the scumbag with neck tattoos who walked away from the food outlet on the back straight with two Tennent’s without paying. The young boy and girl behind the till reminded him several times, but obviously, his upbringing dictated that he was above paying for his drinks.

Congratulations Glasgow, that was a great meeting with two teams giving it their all. I just hope Leon & Dan don’t have to get split up next year due to averages, they are speedway at its very best and when you throw a Bomber and a Kyle into the mix around Ashfield no-one else has a chance Sadly on a sour note, I apologise unreservedly to the Glasgow fans who suffered verbal abuse during the meeting and physical abuse at the end from a couple of drunken louts. Football louts receive bans…….. there is NO place in speedway for this behaviour

I'm not saying don't celebrate, all wins should be celebrated, especially by the fans, club riders and management just shouldn't go OTT is all I'm saying. I just think that mentally it's the difference between being happy to make the final rather than winning it. And being a fully paid up member of the anyone but Poole club I'd hate to see Glasgow do a Leicester from last year.

No-one was safe from being passed last night; there was every opportunity to pass, whether it was inside or outside, first heat or last one. More lines at Ashfield than a Colombian cartel wedding. I hope we get Poole for the propose of revenge, but the thought of one leg of the final being at Wimborne Road kills me. A sporting sleeping tablet.
