  1. Past hour
  2. What is this new fangled sorcery that you speak of?.. Easy to see why they call themselves Witches!!!
  3. Handing facilities out willy nilly is hardly going to stop clubs from arranging fixtures when they know their riders are going to be away... you can continue to go and watch the charade if you like, I kept my £25 in my wallet last night, the first time I've done so with the Lions visiting Sheffield since they stepped back up into the top flight.
  4. Comfy bears win. As we will take a hammering at reserve.
  5. How would guests work if Edinburgh have to race at home, while racing at Glasgow, Scunthorpe or Redcar? 2 home & 2 away, would work if 1) they got rid of the play-offs, so no rush to complete fixtures before a cut-off date 2) clubs agreed to race on off race nights, but they'll get lower crowds 3) riders agreed to put British speedway before Poland / Denmark, making it easier to rearrange fixtures none of these will happen though!
  6. Same as Bomber has said, perhaps it needs to be 2 home and 2 away, get rid of the BSN series. At the end of the day, as long as Poland continue to dictate, it's only going to get worse, they have even added Thursday night to there calendar
  7. I have only been to one league match at Wroclaw and the back uncovered sections were fairly sparse on the support front that day.
  8. Not really, Berwick are still in everything and last Saturday was the first home meeting for six weeks. Its a disjointed and disorganised calendar at the best of times and then these days at the first sight of a bad forecast every meeting is called off, Berwick could’ve ran at least 2 of the meetings during that time that they postponed.
  9. That's the problem with going out of all the cup competitions
  10. Even the youngsters are going to bail out to Poland as soon as they can, happy to be sitting in the Pits (with money in bank, maybe in some cases).GB speedway has too take step back to go forward again.Sad Times.
  11. Hopefully no-one will ask you to disclose how you got this information.😀
  12. And you’re the one saying a couple of posts back “It really cannot be taken seriously as a sport”. your idea above would see a top heat leader “substituted” by a NDL learner which is hardly the way to ensure a competitive meeting is it?
  13. Today
  14. To be fair I’m not sure more than one mention for Dan was needed? It was a review of the meeting and he wasn’t in it. Howarth on the other hand, WAS involved in the meeting and him uncharacteristically scoring zero especially at reserve, is a deserved talking point.
  15. This is the type of stuff that ALL clubs need to do far more of. You go on some clubs’ social media and official websites and they’re mostly incredibly poor. Some rarely get updated at all and it comes across as they really can’t be bothered. It’s such an easy and simple thing to do and this is the kind of thing Coleman was talking about in terms of lack of promoting. Keep the X posts flowing, Facebook, Official websites, ram in down people’s throats regularly and keep all the clubs in the forefront of their supporters minds. Its not a hard thing to do.
  16. Good, or wouldn't be British Speedway if there weren't at least one rider missing 👏
  17. Hi Robinh88, I had this post pointed out to me, I have watched this footage back as have no memory of saying Mitch was tired. Indeed, having watched the heat back I did not say Mitch was tired, even once. I said, he's had a busy afternoon up to now taking 6 of his 7 rides, this due to be the 7th. Which was factually the case, and was disappointingly lacking comedy.
  18. And none of us would be the least bit surprised 😂
  19. Next seasons' top tier points limit has just been announced... 24 (including the Rising Star at 2.00).... Voted in 5 to 1.....
