Why on earth would they do that until they’re actually sure they’re running? I’d imagine the advertising and promotion of Northampton Speedway would commence ONCE they’ve got the green light to run, not before! Pretty bizarre gripe from you again which seems to happen a lot lately 🙄

And yet, here you are. The amount of moaning that five teams is not good enough, makes a mockery of the sport...a sixth team looks likely to appear and STILL moaning. 🤦‍♂️

Good job that advertising has gone out all over Northampton telling the good folk of Northampton that a new speedway team is happening in their area 🙄

I’m hearing this is very much still ON and they plan to be in the premiership this season, I know there are lots of non believers but hopefully news in the next couple of days.

Don't expect Northampton to be the youngest team, but reckon they'll have at least 3 riders in their 20s, combined with a bit of experience.

That building is on the bend and quite a long way from the track. Would assume a ref's box would need to be overlooking the start line ?

Hasn't Rushden been lined up for Northampton ? He must be local with a name like that.

Most are back over here already, some only just prior to it kicking off. But others are coming back via the USA which is a fair bit longer but they'll get here. Can also go via Singapore or Malaysia too into a European hub like Amsterdam and on from there.

This Ipswich side may do better than we think. The owners have by the sounds of it written this year off. The fans have low expectations so the pressure will be off.

The reduction from 4.00 to 3.00 was put in place when the rule book was being formulated for the 2025 season. There was a promoter who just missed the boat for the 2024 regs after this particular rule wasn’t to his liking. Can’t remember witch one.
