  1. Past hour
  2. Should get a 28 day ban for next season though if a British club is naive enough to sign a rider who thinks it is okay to treat the club who quite frankly have pandered after him all season with no reciprocal loyalty with such disdain.
  3. For anyone wanting to know how Polish media see’s our league 😂 from Thursdays media report in Poland… TRANSLATION: Such things only happen in England. Sheffield Tigers and Ipswich Witches have already played their semi-final matches, but on Thursday they faced off again in the... regular season. That's how you make up ground in the Premiership. This meant that Sheffield Tigers, who were eliminated in the semi-finals by Leicester Lions, had a literally meaningless match to say goodbye to their home fans. Meanwhile, Ipswich Witches, who still have the final to play, treated the match more like a friendly against a demanding opponent.
  4. Not His Team Manager, former Polish Team Manager now Tv critic. No messing says it as he sees it.
  5. Marek has seen a few riders in the last 50 years ,he is just giving an honest opinion.
  6. The whole situation stinks, I liked Fraser, I thought he was one of the most improved riders over the course of the season but this has left a sour taste in the mouth. He’s a young lad who’s finding his way in Europe and I get his Facebook post, but to spit the dummy out over a “lift” that then leads to essentially withholding his services, is just out of order. His behaviour is that of a petulant child throwing his toys out of the pram, just adds fuel to the rumours he’s signed for Poole. Good riddance.
  7. Marek Cieslak, used to be the Poland “coach” he’s working on CanalSports coverage of meetings in Poland now. Found this from an article on the polish site. “I'd like to know who recommended this rider to them. I see he's a guy who can't really ride speedway. But what can you do, but that's exactly what Unia's squad looks like – full of holes," said Marek Cieślak on Canal+ Sport. The Australian left the Jaskółki team without scoring a single point. In Łódź, he had only zeros against his name in four starts. "I don't know why he got the first number. Maybe Stasiu (Burza - editor's note) was hoping for some kind of awakening," added the experienced coach.”
  8. On what I’ve seen of him he’s going nowhere in Poland. Will struggle when U24 finishes for him. There’s a dozen young Poles in front of him.Social Media training needed.
  9. Hopefully Richard Lawson's announcement today will explain his absences this week and appease all the doubters and rumourmongers. Congratulations Rich and welcome the new Rio Rocket!
  10. I really don't get all the negativity (bullrubbish) about the playoffs. pretty much very other sport that operates a league structure includes play-offs of one sort or another. Clubs love 'em because they are still money-spinners compared to standard fixtures (not least because clubs can raise the admission prices) and they can sometimes be the difference between a club losing money or breaking even over the season! They still attract larger crowds and often greater local/regional media coverage..
  11. The Edinburgh Riders and Management failed to see the preparation between heats 14 and 15 extended break with the outside being tyre packed and the inside being graded. Glasgow riders knew where to go.
  12. Great meeting, great racing, with Nagel scoring zero Edinburgh should be in the final. I am sure most Glasgow fans will want Poole in the final, two reasons, One for revenge and two because probably Redcar will be harder to beat. Obviously I hope Poole make it and I dont care how much flack and abuse we receive about our track.
  13. I was the same regarding Leon, he has gone up a level or two, ultimately when it really matters. Positively he looks to be on a steal of an average for next year.
  14. I was the same regarding Leon, he has gone up a level or two, ultimately when it really matters. Positively he looks to be on a steal of an average for next year.
  15. I would have thought any verbal abuse should have been aimed at MPT, awful performance, if he was carrying an injury he should not have ridden, no guest could have done a worse job.
  16. What happened? On that note, shout out to the scumbag with neck tattoos who walked away from the food outlet on the back straight with two Tennent’s without paying. The young boy and girl behind the till reminded him several times, but obviously, his upbringing dictated that he was above paying for his drinks.
  17. Congratulations Glasgow, that was a great meeting with two teams giving it their all. I just hope Leon & Dan don’t have to get split up next year due to averages, they are speedway at its very best and when you throw a Bomber and a Kyle into the mix around Ashfield no-one else has a chance Sadly on a sour note, I apologise unreservedly to the Glasgow fans who suffered verbal abuse during the meeting and physical abuse at the end from a couple of drunken louts. Football louts receive bans…….. there is NO place in speedway for this behaviour
  18. Really enjoyed getting to see one heat from the referees box. That was a great experience. Even got to press a big red button in the middle of the race. 🤠
  19. Don’t forget, we’ve spent about £400M and won two trophies in eleven years, so we start vibrating when we heard the word ”final”.
  20. I'm not saying don't celebrate, all wins should be celebrated, especially by the fans, club riders and management just shouldn't go OTT is all I'm saying. I just think that mentally it's the difference between being happy to make the final rather than winning it. And being a fully paid up member of the anyone but Poole club I'd hate to see Glasgow do a Leicester from last year.
  21. Today
  22. No-one was safe from being passed last night; there was every opportunity to pass, whether it was inside or outside, first heat or last one. More lines at Ashfield than a Colombian cartel wedding. I hope we get Poole for the propose of revenge, but the thought of one leg of the final being at Wimborne Road kills me. A sporting sleeping tablet.
  23. I’m sitting with egg on my face over Flint. I was critical of him earlier this season, but what an end to the season he’s having. His pass in heat five on Palovaara and Palm Toft - two in the one bend - was literally world class. Then, in heat fourteen, it was all or nothing and he delivered. Even watching the meeting back on BSN, you could see him in the pits, motivating team mates like Perry. You could see how much it meant to him after the meeting too.
  24. Good too see the Track prep with a racing line on the inside if riders wanted to use it it has been missing lately.Howarth used it too great effect.
