Crowd had to be over 1,000 -
I think Brennan will nick a point off one of them, but then he'll also drop a point to Cook. The wildcards in it all are Kildemand & Hellström Bängs. To hit 35 Witches need King to have a good night. Musielak won't trouble Bewley or Kurtz, should be good between him and the Aces engine room. Nicholls & Lawson might beat Cairns.

Unfortunately looks like the lad had a bad crash at Buxton today, air ambulance called, probably due to remote location of track, hope it's not too serious
-
That would be a good move, didn't expect the averages to drop, but best use the available points to strengthen up when they can.

Have to disagree regarding crowd level. Looked very good ,be surprised if there are any bigger crowds during the season.Maybe if we are in the running for Silverware there might be.Personally thought it was an entertaining meeting,I’ve seen a lot worse. -
Kurtz and Bewley should be able to score a max each tomorrow without breaking a sweat.

Riss needs to retire at this point. Hes been suffering with this illness since 2023 and its looking increasingly unlikely that its going to get better. Needs to do himself, his opponents and club a favour and sadly admit defeat. The sports dangerous enough without a condition that seemingly effects his vision at random times.
-
So they should get an initial 28 day facility from the date of his sick note.

It must be difficult when there's football on a Saturday to prep the track, Berwick never been renown for lots of passing,we have what we have and that's it, I thought the crowd was very good,if you thought that was bad you should see it when the southern teams are here -

I stand on turn 3/4 at Owlerton so all the winners come past me and take the applause, it's only the home straight they are missing out. 😉 -
I Can understand that now I forgot it’s in an isolated area.
-
Riss just posted on FB that he's taking another break from racing as his health issues have returned.
-
Looks like Oxford are now considerably weaker. Who do they go for to replace Erik?
-
Think it’s because of the tracks location and the time it would take for a ambulance to get hope Connor is not too badly injured 🤞🤞
-
Dale wood could be a good guest over the weekend !

I’m not sure win at all costs is in our repertoire. Take an available advantage when we can yes as would anyone. I don’t think many existing fans, newcomers or even tigers left feeling shortchanged last night. There wasn’t much overtaking but there was plenty entertainment. I spoke with diamonds fans that will be coming back and a couple from Germany who are following Leon who might not be back and tigers who follow the team everywhere. All were smiling. Crowd seemed ok to me. Back straight had a few gaps but the main stand had people searching for seats. -
A lot more than 2 and a bit points, in the short term would rather have a guest for Vinnie, but unfortunately Jamie is out of his depth and needs replacing sooner rather than later

When Max Perry rode for Leicester Lions Cubs when Comets joined the NDL in 2023 I had him down as a rider who had the qualities to go further eg good on the bike, a trier all the way to the flag with a bit of a racing instinct. Somehow he seems to have lost his way having been dropped by Poole very quickly in 2024 and then what was probably a pressure year in 2025 at Glasgow who were chasing silverware on more than one front. Many people consider him a weak reserve after his last two seasons but I would certainly be inclined to give him a chance if a like for like replacement for Jamie Etherington is being sought. Oh and just out of interest his scores for Glasgow at Berwick lsst season were 8 in the BSN and 9 in the Championship, granted he never repeated those feats often enough.

Think one problem with Sheffield is the limited viewing areas - most tracks there are fans dotted around the entire track to take applause from. That said it never used to bother riders in the past -
