Lambert @ No.1 anyone? Will have to ride in the UK if he wants a British license.
-
We both can't have him
-
I'll be interested to see how this works in practice. Currently not many under 21 continental Europeans ride in the UK. Looking at the top 8 from last years, British under 21's only 4 rode Premiership. There is already a significant difference from Rushen and Cairns to Loftus, Perry and Foord who after multiple Championship seasons are still averaging around 3.5 or less in the Championship. (I haven't checked who is now no longer under 21). Only the top 10 had Championship places, riders finishing 11-18 were NDL only riders, yet we could see them being signed to Premiership places to fit the under 21 criteria, even if they aren't good enough for the Championship. Forcing teams to use 2 under 21s could make the u21 riders more valuable than heat leaders.

Will take Lawson at Berwick if that’s the case.

It covers the top two Polish leagues. The article on the Extraliga web site is silent on the Championship although it does say that the restriction does not apply to the French, German and Czech leagues, however if there is a clash with these leagues then priority will be given to the competitions that are included in the Slot System. This is: League days are divided into so-called slots. Great Britain – league matches are scheduled for Mondays and Thursdays, Sweden – on Tuesdays, Denmark – on Wednesdays, and Poland (PGEE / M2E) – on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Presumably, the Championship could be exempt but subject to the same priority call?

Rumour is that Masters is moving on... Can't see it myself

Great experience for the lads

I would also want him tested for drugs before every meeting.

Will say one thing, if it goes down to a last heat or super heat decider, as both tracks have a high kerb, their will be no grass tracking or white line issues 😜 -
Yes, really cant remember Eastbourne riding on a week day and I first went in 1976 as a young child..
-
The 1st Division teams appear to by invitation. The 2nd Division teams qualified based on their league position the previous year. The top 8 2nd Division teams qualified except in these years: 1976 when league winners Birmingham moved up to the 1st Division so teams finishing 2nd to 9th in 1975 were included. 1977 when the competition was extended and the top 10 2nd Division sides from 1976 were included. 1979 when Eastbourne, who had finished 4th in the 2nd Division, moved up to the 1st Division and the 1978 9th team was included (Glasgow). I don't know if 'prestigious' is the right word but it did give 2nd Division tracks the opportunity to race against 1st Division sides in a competitive environment. Unfortunately very few made it past the first round - Boston defeated Hackney in 1975 before losing at Belle Vue in the nezt round. The only other 2nd Division side to win a match were Workington who defeated Ipswich and King's Lynn before losing at Hull in the semi-final in 1976.

Jody is practicing in torun on Tuesday and Wednesday with Luke Harrison and Ryan Ingram and some local junior riders.
-
No idea why the forum clown has laughed at all that but I believe Jody had a 'trial' in Torun at the weekend presumably with a view to riding in their U24 side in 2027.

He did an interview with Sportowefakty last week where he said he could potentially consider it. - Today

Based on Jason Edwards' performances at Sandy Lane, he'd be one of the first names I'd try and sign.
-

Good point I forgot about that potential loophole for him to avoid having to come back to the UK if he doesn't fancy it.
