  1. Past hour
  2. Was Kurtz genuine in Heat 13? Four rides four comfy wins, no one near him then a stone last. Cook bust a gut to pass Lidsey Kurtz just sat there. I suppose it was a nothing race, he had done his job by then.
  3. Yesterday
  4. Sam says he never picked up a shovel in the time he rode Speedway. I can remember him kicking off against Scunthorpe when one of their lads had been instructed to turn hard right on him out of the gate and after the third time Sam kicked off and then loads of people got involved in handbags. Far as I can remember the biggest punishment ended up being for Danny Norton that day but really should have been for the bloke issuing the instructions from the safety of the pits. There was also an incident with Luke Priest where Sam waited for him after being cleaned out then hitting Lukes helmet when he told Sam it was because he was going too slow 😂. Would have all been OK 10 minutes later if it hadn't been for Dave Robinson excluding Sam from the meeting and one of the opposing teams lot running over and trying to hit Sam while everybody had hold of him. The exact opposite happened at Stoke when Sam cleaned Gary Flint out, rode round to apologise but Gary (quite rightly) had the hump and hit him. The Marshall soon broke it up, the ref didn't take any action (it was Margaret Vardy so she probably didn't see it) and 5 minutes later Gary and Sam were having a laugh about it in the pits and are friends to this day. Ms Vardy then did notice that Karlis Ezergalis had the wrong shade of yellow helmet cover and either excluded or fined him (can't remember exactly) she had a politicians sense of priorities 🤣 To this day I think that riders who are pumped up shouldn't be punished for a bit of handbags immediately after an incident, the crowd love it. However anybody except another rider hitting a rider should be banned from the pits for life, there's no excuse for it.
  5. Find a girl for an amazing night - No Selfie https://PrivateDates.live Girls nearby who want to meet you
  6. Any plans to change Saturday start time or postpone due to footie If so I'd like it changed as early as possible Speedway will come first but I do have something else on if speedway is changed
  7. Sorry to interrupt but,...........nice to hear that Cairns had a good night for the Aces, 9+2 and voted on BSN as rider of the night.
  8. Try that bit harder is a daft but expectrd comment Belle Vue have built a team that are so good at home (the correct thing to do) that really over 2 legs they should beat everyone Nice of you to notice that we aren’t as good as last season but still in with a chance of the play offs ….. you know what they are as whenever you have come up against Ipswich in those you do get beat … luckily for you we was in the other semi in 2024 Very hard to defend a title as you will know after limping into 4th last season after winning it in 2024…. Think maybe Ipswich might limp into 4th this season after winning it in 2025… seems both our clubs are the same but at least in 2025 you didn’t lose your owner and nearly lose your club and where able to keep your top riders and not have to build almost from scratch but still you struggled Oh and regards Doyle it’s always wise to check facts before posting …. He asked Paul Hurry about riding for Ipswich the weekend of the Manchester GP…. Hurry declined saying he would have to release 3 riders to do that ….call that stupid yes possibly …. But to say Doyle gave us a wide berth is just made up by yourself but hey if you feel better go for it Personally I think it’s great Doyle is back … also means over 2 legs Belle Vue will beat the weakest Ipswich team in years over 2 legs now You will/should win the league unless Sheffield can get a superstar replacement for Holder … Will be a huge choke if you don’t (unless of course Kurtz, who I want to win the title) has an important GP the weekend after the final
  9. i was impressed by Luke Harrison tonight ,, and thats about it.
  10. Cairns has been making a significant improvement this season.wish him well he has lot of doubters.
  11. ...then you should stop drinking and rip up your Associate membership of the Bar Bandits to reduce any temptation.😉
  12. If Zach is missing the Berwick meeting that could be a plus for Poole. He hates it there.
  13. When you are regularly losing customers, raising prices for those who still shop with you, by inflation busting amounts annually, is truly a brilliant plan... Heaven forbid, ever try and find out why your, once hugely loyal customers, are no longer visiting you...
  14. Polish fixtures that day,Pickering,Dan Thompson and Zach Cook have meetings that day.
  15. Just had a quick look to see how ticket sales are going. Has Torun sold out?
  16. Every speedway club last year lost money apart from Poole and Ipswich which is probably only down to extra play off meetings with large crowds. this season there is no tv money so every club is £70k down before a wheel has turned. Sheffield have lost their main sponsor so that’s possibly another £20k down. Also the cost of starting up of Northampton is possibly being shared by the promotion too so further funding diminishing. But the BSPL have a cunning plan. Simply cut the points limit and loose a few top riders while at the same time put up admission. now this has been done about 28 times previously failing miserably and losing more disillusion fans each time so it’s very likely to work in 2026.
  17. Luckily we got to see Kurtz pass everyone in heat 13 when he missed the gate though to make up for others only gating.
  18. It’s not up to Belle vue to lower their standards to make for competitive racing. More the other teams to at least try and make it entertaining for the paying public. These teams and their riders need to try that bit harder when they visit the home of speedway. Bit like Kurtz at the reigning champions Ipswich apparently. Who by the way are making a complete boll*x of defending their title. No wonder doyley gave them a wide berth on his return
  19. Don’t get me wrong the Belle Vue track is by a mile the best track in the uk nothing comes close Just that sometimes it’s just as good watching at other tracks that require different sets of skills Our track at Ipswich is shocking this season and to be fair it’s never been that good …. But watching riders like Doyle and Emil miss the gate at Ipswich and then pick their way through is to me just as classy as seeing someone just stick it in the dirt and fly by Saw an interview with Todd Wiltshire and he said he would have loved the Belle Vue track and his favourite to ride was Bradford … then when asked about the skill of riding Bradford he said that was nothing compared to the skills of Darcy Ward , Mark Loram and Andrew Silver riding at Arena Essex
  20. Glasgow? As if I would ever get annoyed about anything! Not even when the season stops because of football 😄🤭😉🙄😂
  21. It was far from a great meeting but believe it or not there are plenty of us enjoy watching our speedway at full throttle, not Belle Vue's fault that the opposition were beyond poor.
  22. Had a face like a camel licking sh*t off a thistle!
  23. Poole have the copy write on that title 😜
  24. 100%... All four riders, riding that 2m blue groove certainly takes some doing, lap after lap...
  25. Went back to Australia to complete his studies, only just turned 16 so another couple of years until exams are finished. Then we will all have to wait to see who he signs for, and whether he chases the £s or the track for experience. Maybe Darcy will tell him to go north 😜 that would annoy @LisaColette 🤣🤣
  26. Remember when they used to wheel Pete out for the tv interviews , he was a brilliant manager but a terrible advert for the sport in front of the cameras permanent grimace and you could tell he wanted to be anywhere else but giving an interview.
