Not totally against it. His form was puzzling though
-
Glad the rule has been ditched,it’s entriguing when 2 totally different team set ups meet each other and who then comes out on top,and most importantly giving teams freedom to build how they want to.
-
But as I said, the main airports are Stansted and Luton

Just out of interest, can you get lemon flavoured sour grapes?

I think now the 1 over 8 in the team has been scrapped alot of teams will have strong top 5 and a 2pointer at reserve Whalley,Southwick, vale, summers to name a few. So stronger reserves could be beneficial possibly
-
And another, Georg Hack died today, November 2, 2026
-
Don't think a modern day thrashing will be any where like the ones in 1978,80+81 😲
-
He's let the comets down twice now, so don't want to make it 3rd time unlucky, but before he disappeared this past season he was riding very well, was unbelievable at Glasgow
-
Agreed both reserves are weak away from home. It would be great to see Anze G stay for another season.
-
Why do I get the horible feeling that we are going to end up with the likes of Jake Allen and Simon Lambert??
-
Cookie to return

Win lose or draw its the racing for me !

I wish I could mate but my average doesn’t fit in with the team plans, was what Danyon posted in regard to coming back to Berwick
-
We travel to home matches from Barrow due to work we cant make all matches, however may be less inclined to spend £50 on admission and £40 on diesel to see the Comets get thrashed, thats not to say we wont come but it is far more attractive to watch your side winning and being in the mix for honours
-
His average is still attractive but he’s such an infuriating rider. Never dominates when he should. Still not forgiven him for his showboating and losing the heat. Fanny
-
Sorry, never noticed your previous post.Might be interest from other teams on that average.
-
Unfortunately a lot of names on my wish list have signed for other clubs , others rumoured to be signing for other clubs, need some names, personally I'll support any comets team, but many fans may not if the team does not look decent, but scunny done well with a poor looking side 😄

It’s a grey area, but would that team with Riss fit instead of Kemp? The most recent average is used, Riss didn’t ride in the Premiership, but did a couple I think in the Championship. Would that mean it’s his Championship average converted, or his Premiership average with Oxford from 2025? If it’s his Championship converted average, he fits. Risky yes, but he’s declared himself fit and over his vision issues but that’s been said before.
-
Did anyone definitively worked out what reduction Danyon would get? If he did get both would he fit with a 4 pointer?
-
I have no clue as to who you are referring to.
-
I’ve not seen enough of him, was he at Lynn at the start of the season but struggled big time? I was surprised when I saw his Ave? Much lower than I’d of thought

Sat 31 October I took paid a visit to the Lymm Heritage Centre to see the Peter Collins exhibition. Lymm is a small but really nice village in Cheshire, just about 3 miles from M6 junction 20 and on the A56. The Exhibition Centre is virtually next to the Bridgewater Canal that runs through the centre of the village, makes a pretty picture with it's lived in narrow boats. Parking is good, couple of car parks within 50 yards of the Exhibition Centre, free for up to 1 hour, £1.70 for up to 2 hours, pay cash (coins) at machine, no change given. Half a dozen or so nice cafes in the village centre, together with a very old stone monument and stocks. In the village is what's called the "small dam" the "large dam is up stream by the side of the A56 with it's own parking area and country walk along either side of the dam...nice for dog walking. Saturdays the exhibition opens at 12noon till 4:30pm and I understand it's been extended through Nov and part of Dec due to popularity. If you thinking of going please check it out by googling Lymm Exhibition Centre (whatever works for you). I got there just before 12:30 and although people were in it was fairly quite and because of that I must of managed about 25 minutes chatting with Peter. It's not a large exhibition, it's not a large building. Couple of Peters bike, a trophy cabinet with about 20 of his collection of over 400, and some snippets and photographs from his growing up days on his dad's farm along with Chris and Dave Morton and other lads on Partington, some went on to be speedway riders. I definitely recommend a trip to Lymm Heritage Centre but do check beforehand that it and the display will be open and Peter will be in attendance on that day. Lymm itself, with the Bridgewater canal, Lymm Dam, the historic Lymm Cross and stocks, the cafes etc well worth a visit.
