Telford classic off road show
THE DEAN MACHINE replied to THE DEAN MACHINE's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I pay £120 but that’s for 3.5 meters by 3 meters but you can get cheaper for smaller, to be honest mate what you’re selling you’re better off at either the paradise park one in march or the speedway show at at Warwick, both are cheaper and more tailored towards the memorabilia crowd, Telford is tailored towards the bike side of it -

I’ve just caught up on this, my effing god! Someone sat down and actually thought & spent their time coming up with this. They should have put one of the traffic cones they use to keep the tapes up and put it on her head, for a bit more authenticity -

'Should' was the magic word they used. Words like 'could, should, may and might' are not normally worth the paper they are written on...

Ipswich Witches 2026
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv replied to TTT's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Does anyone trust the BBC anymore? It is their post that quotes 'within two weeks' even though if you read the statement made by Chris it's says 'within the coming weeks' A small yet significant difference I do agree however we must now be close to either a full statement or at very least an update as to why there is a delay -
Don't think BP's were removed from GSA's until early 2000's so I'd imagine those Ipswich averages include BP's.
-
There would be a rental fee Better than nothing if he can't sell it plus it ensures continuity of the speedway lease and if he wants to sell at any point he will need that in place
-
And still the silence continues, surely got to be a statement today ?
-
….then it won’t be a ‘ bumper ‘ crowd.

King's Lynn Stars 2026
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv replied to TTT's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Im still in the Cradley are the best camp but Is that Cradley with bonus points and Ipswich without ? The other big factor of course is the points limit at the season start Much higher in the 80's. Somewhere in the back of my mind I seem to remember the limit being at 50 or even 52 including bonus which would equate to approx 45/47 without -

Well at least she is still presentable. We could have had Katie Price do it( between marriages and house moves) for a much cheaper price🤣 -
Telford classic off road show

Had a stall at this event, every year since Alan Wright started it at various venues, Ryton, Malvern, Telford etc., gave it a miss last year for the first time ever, and never really missed it, so once again this year will give it a swerve. If Alan Wright had not fallen out with Malvern Showground it would probably still be there ? Telford is a nightmare venue for the public, parking etc.and there is nowhere for the show to expand, Mortons/Kelsey must have called me about 5 times ,including last week, asking if I wanted a stall, so sounds like there are still spaces available ? I will be keeping my powder dry for Bristol Classic show -

It's made the national press anyway. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/38028000/british-speedway-cup-draw/ -
Probably won't be a Friday nite as a lot of the youngsters have work or college

I'm thinking Sam Fox and best pairs very apt. -
Let’s hope it’s run on the regular Friday night as it’s always a struggle to get a good crowd for individual meetings.
-
Will definitely try to make it... if I'm not at work

I think most people think, that what they did was harmless enough but was entirely symbolic of the thinking that runs Speedway in this country and it was all summed up in one short video. -
Looking forward to this meeting already! Hopefully a bumper payday for Redccar too

Lions leading the way again... A Whatsapp channel, long overdue 👏

Yep they’ve made a mess of it! And previously the British reduction wasn’t taken off before doubling. But now probably depends if that club needs an extra 0.20 or not 😂
-
Unless he's in Darcy Ward's back yard when he goes whichever way his machine takes him!! Sometimes he even stays on!!😂

Next weekend the 7-8th Feb is the classic off road show at the Telford international center, it’s a huge show with 1000s of bikers and family’s attending over the 2 days, the usual speedway suspects have stalls there, me, Jan staechmann,,Aiden and Les Collins (ride &Skid) Cov comp,Hagon shocks,Sid’s wheels, I think Buxton, belle vue supporters club and Workington are all represented there and you always get a good sprinkle of former riders, but where are the bspl or speedway futures again ???? It costs peanuts for a stand and as I’m sure the usual folk will say why bother? Well it’s not preaching to the converted for a start,,we need to set up a team that does all the shows no matter how big or small,,we have to get out there and go to the people, anyway hope to see you there
