Calm down Lewy. Nothing snidey about the comment (unless you feel guilty and its a bit too close to home of course). Most clubs make cash payments to helpers/volunteers on the night. Ask Tom Jones....It's Not Unusual đ I note Oxford have re-introduced cash payments too.

Question for Sheffield fans on here. Am I right in thinking that apart from a couple of draws in the 70s that Kings Lynn have never won at Owlerton?

Dougie is down to ride according to the Lions website. They will never have a better chance of winning at Foxhall than tomorrow. -
The 1995 British Speedway Grand Prix took place at Hackney. The first time the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff was used for a Speedway Grand Prix was 2001.

Looks like BSPL have followed the rulebook in putting together the line-up this time around. For the original staging, they didn't, hence the real reason for the postponement. -
Will Barker or King be back for Saturday?

If Douglas rides can only see a Leicester victory. Poor choice getting in Palm-Toft, Oscar Berwick would have more chance of scoring some pointsđ -
For anyone interested: Magdalena Ciszek-KozĆowska, is the new stal managing director, as of June this year. Why is that important information?⊠because she was the former co-founder and long term president of the company Promet Cargo, which supports the Gorzow club, and she is a long term and close friend of Zmarzlik and his family. She wishes to bring him back to the club soon. Today is the first day in many years Zmarzlik has taken to the Stal Gorzow track for âtrainingâ.

I dont think it is the reason but closing down another track is not the answer. Even if i didnt support Poole I would not want it closed.

I was under the impression that King hurt his ribs when He fell in heat 11 at Kings Lynn so is therefore a speedway related injury. -

Chin up! At the F2F event with Richard Coleman he said the team were undefeated at home and more than one person responded "until tomorrow", meaning the meeting against Belle Vue - it didn't happen though did it, so let's wait and see, although Palm Toft is a wildcard choice đ -

Expect weâll see the lowest attendance for many a year unfortunately. Pedersen needs to hit the ground running, Edwards needs to have his best meeting, Nicholls needs to do better than heâs managed so far, Tom needs to regain his best form and Tobi needs to maintain his. An awful lot needs to fall in to place to stop a first home defeat. Canât see it personally but weâll see. -
Norman Hunter, Stan Stevens, Brian Leonard, afaik

If it meant getting rid of most of the fans (you're an exception) off here then I am sure it would be well worth it. Steve Lyric is an absolute wanchor and along with the other dodgy geezer who these days acts like Bournemouths biggest fan with zero knowledge of football, is the reason most fans despise Poole.
